The NuEnterprise has grown on me... like some kind of FUNGUS!

I particularly like the scene where Nero was like,

"WAIT! Scan the hull" and this almost ambient love music plays. It was almost like some sort of reverse-love-at-first-sight thingy. I dunno I just loved the scene.

I like it, but sometimes I feel that the nacelles truly are oversized. That said, I'll still take it over TOS Enterprise, but not over the refit.

Nope still dislike it. Still ugly as sin. When I dont like the look of something I rarely warm up to it. Kinda like buying a car. I doubt anyone here would buy a car they thought was asthetically displeasing to the eye, because it will grown on them later. I never liked the TNG E as well. I liked the show but not the ship. It never grew on me, even over 20 years later. Its still an ugly ship.

Sorry still not the Enterprise. The TOS and TMP Enterprise' s will always be the best in my eyes.

When I saw the first promo shot of it, I liked it...I didn't love it, but I liked it. But when I saw the movie, and saw her in action-not necessarily in motion, but from other camera angles, and actually doing something, she stole a piece of my heart, so to speak. I think each of the Kirk Enterprises are beautiful in their own way, so I'm not one to compare them, but I have to say, that I like this one a bit more than the TOS version. The refit still has a place in my heart, and so does this one.

If a ship manages to excite me once or twice during a movie, it's definitely got spunk in my mind. This new ship managed to give me spine-tingling chills 3 times during the movie. The first flyby we see her in, with the theme music playing, before the cadets board her; when she rises out of the gaseous cloud around Jupiter; and when she drops out of warp and tears apart the Narada's torpedoes with all of her forward phasers. I've never seen any of the Kirk Enterprises show that much firepower. Granted, the TOS E had only one bank of phasers that we saw on a regular basis, but the refit E had all the same saucer phaser banks as the new movie E, and we never saw her open up on a target with all of them. Now, that sure would be a sight to see.

But i got the playmates ship and put it in my living room. I gata say. I'm liking it now.
I love the way it lights up.
But I didn't wanna hear talking while playing wi- EXAMINING it, so I unscrewed the four screws under the primary hull & cut one of the wires to the speaker. Now I can just soak in the pretty without distraction.:techman:

Yeah I would agree. The other original Enterprises's were certainly beautiful and elegant ships, but this is the first time (at least to me) that it's also felt truly powerful and badass.

It just feels to me like it's got a better mix of all the elements.

Obviously I'll always cherish the other ones, but I have to admit they look kind of fragile and weak in comparison now.

Not classic looking like the TOS Enterprise, but I am getting used to it. The nacelles are still to big, but it gave them a visual departure from past Enterprise looks.

I like her but I don't "like" like her. I like her as a friend only...we'll never be serious. She's the TOS Enterprise's slutty stepdaughter.

So your performance wouldn't be affected, as long as you had a bag over her
... nacellecaps? hangar deck?

Question: does every thread in these parts always have to veer towards sexual innuendo?

I mean, I'm cool with it, yo. Just wonderin' is all.;)

"Oh Phil, all you ever think about is sex.

Wow, look at the nacelles on that ship!"
