The Nifty Nineties

Rex Holman is off the list!

But in a good way. Both Memory Alpha and IMDB now agree he was born in 1935.

So still alive and seven years younger -- who wouldn't want that?

Sadly William O'Connell has died at, what turned out to be his actual age, of 94
That sneaky Orion was fibbing about his age! You did not miscalculate your ability to entertain.
Rest in Peace.

It's not a year since last post yet!

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any updates to this list. How many of the naughty ninety plus year olds are still with us?

No one on the current list has died! And there won't be any new additions until March of this year. May they all keep kicking!
Every once in a while I update the ages of those on the list. Somebody will turn 100 this year, God willing. Don't know if any TOS series actor has ever lived to 100.
19% of the people on the current list are Williams!! lol

So Marc Grady Adams who is an actor who played an actor playing a part in Conscience of the King will turn 100 on October 9 this year.
On the spin off series front, Noel De Souza who played holodeck Gandhi on Voyager will turn 100 on December 27 this year is the oldest spin off series actor alive that I know of.
Interesting that both oldest actors played something other than a standard role but were instead playing somebody that was not "real".
De Souza was on the OG Outer Limits before Trek ever premiered in the cheesy episode "Tourist Trap" (the one with the walking fish creatures).
Lastly, there currently are 21 members of the 90s club another 17 were on, then passed. So, at least 38 of the 401 TOS actors made it to 90. Nearly 10%! Does that seem about right for actors appearing on a show that ran from 66-69?

EDITS: Eve Brenner from TNG is a bit older than Noel De Souza (born in Sep 1925) and will turn 100 before him hopefully. She's on track to be the first 100 year old Trek actor in several years.

63 TOS actors have reached their 90s but not one has made it to 100. A staggering 15% of all TOS actor have/had made it to 90 and there are another 87 living TOS actors who may join that club.

It seems if you make it to adulthood -- say around 40 -- you have a decent chance of living to 90 -- even for actors born early in the last century.

Thanks for the update!

Eve Brenner was born in Sept. 1925 (not 2025 LOL) -- we don't need any time travel shenanigans from future Trek actors!
