The visual look of this book and the design of the pages is so stark and plain. It looks like a Word document. I hope this is just early drafts and they haven't shown us the finished product yet.

Indeed, looks very poorly laid out, sorry to say. Since I've already got the TNG technical manual (As I imagine, many trekkies with an interest in the starships do), I can't see that this book brings enough new things to the table to justify purchase, rsoecially with so many resourcrs now available online.

A shame really - a well produced, good looking coffee table book on the Enterprise D would be enough to part me with my money.
