The next Children in Need mini-episode revealed?

Yeah, I mean Amy obviously is the kind of girl to wear knickers anyway so Rory was just getting a thrill from a flash of panties at worst!

If looking up a woman's skirt constitutes a smutfest I suspect most schoolchildren are already beyond redemption in this respect.
Well, following that we had "Och aye, Ah'm a wee fittie so I am, hoots mon Ah'd scissor me senseless" and Rory's "May I watch? I'll just wank quietly in the corner, you won't even know I'm there, I'm a pathetic little man etc".

Mind you, kids these days, we may well get just the same. Once they've weeded out the "Doctor visits the land of poo and wee" entries of course.

As opposed to being a slut who tries to fuck the Doctor the night before her Wedding, you mean?

Oh dear...like I say, the problem people have with Amy is that she has the temerity to act like a bloke rather than a simpering helpless female.

I admit that her attempts to seduce the Doctor aren't exactly the high point of the character, but given her likely mental state at the time and all the various things going through her mind, it does actually make sense. You're about to get married with all the doubts that invariably brings to a whole lot of people, except most people don't then have their imaginary child hood friend they've fantasised about for years turn up and whisk them off to space where they nearly die at the hands of living statues! :)

Of course the people unhappy with Amy are the sort who'd never ever do anything impulsive, or anything they'd regret, and who'd never, ever give in to lust in a moment of weakness like most of us would.

They also probably live in Monestarys and Nunneries... ;)

Don't assume everyone in the world has the same lack of ethics or morals that you seem to think they do.

^ Yeah I thought this thread was going down that road again. Okay I'm out of here. Have fun tanking another thread...

More like the people unhappy with Amy like good, well acted characters... ;)

Thanks for announcing it. Sure you don't want to stay for a leaving party? We'll have a whip round.

Well ... in Amy's defense (in addition to Starkers' comment), I'd point out that the "night before her wedding" thing probably wore off weeks earlier in her travels in the TARDIS. So, instead of trying to fuck the Doctor the night before her wedding, from her point of view it was more like trying to fuck the Doctor some unknown time before her wedding.

I also get a sense that Amy was beginning to give up on Rory prior to "Vampires of Venice". She'd moved on to bigger things until Rory started sharing the adventures and stood up to fishboy for her. Even then, it wasn't until "Amy's Choice" that it really did gel for her that she did love him, making the conclusion of "Cold Blood" doubly poignant.
