And yet all I can take away from this previous exchange is that there was badly-written flippancy that couldn't withstand the slightest scrutiny.

I wouldn't even say there was a joke there that he missed... I'm just a mite surprised that he thought I was implying any sort of literal segregation.

Thought I do have to say that there was no intentional flippancy in my statement, nor was there any real scrutiny that it failed under.
