That is awesome! I bet that does look gorgeous on an Apple 5K screen. Hell, it looks awesome on my 9 year old HP monitor!

It's the Darian ship from "Mission of the Darians" where we see a very nice younger Joan Collins.. Some of that show in its first season was good. Pity it was only 4:3

Hey howcome in the original SW movie the Death Star didn't have the dish popping out like that? Is this a revised timeline?

I promise I didn't cheat. I remember watching Space:1999 on VHS cassettes that had been worn down to a frazzle, but I do remember the design of the show, and this reminded me of it, so ... yay!

No, it's being installed in that shot. It doesn't pop in and out of the body of the Death Star. This is just showing the final stages of construction of the battle station and the installation of the superlaser dish.
