I promise I didn't cheat. I remember watching Space:1999 on VHS cassettes that had been worn down to a frazzle, but I do remember the design of the show, and this reminded me of it, so ... yay!Correct.......... I hope you didn't cheat .........

No, it's being installed in that shot. It doesn't pop in and out of the body of the Death Star. This is just showing the final stages of construction of the battle station and the installation of the superlaser dish.
