I always wondered how they could paint a breathtaking alien city and yet cant make a beleivable Jeffries Tube painting.

RAMA, thank you for reviving your thread. I got these two off of Andy Probert's site. They are test mattes for TMP, detailing the inside of the Enterprise refit from the cargo bay back. In the final version, Robert Wise had the shuttles and work pods removed from the picture so that Spock's arrival by shuttlecraft would be a complete surprise.
