The New Face of the Ferengi

Behold, the new face of the Ferengi (as per my own redesigned universe)

Having developed on the rainforest dominated planet of Ferenginar, the Ferengi are a race driven primarily by profit. Anatomically, their ancestors were similar to those of Earth's tarsier, a tree dwelling nocturnal carnivore. Ferengis have average eyesight but only in low-light conditions, their primary sensory input comes from echolocation and smell. Ferengi noses have multiple nostrils which have multiple sets of olfactory receptors, however because of it's specialization it requires additional blood flow to the region in order for all receptors to be active.

Hey @LazyReader, I see you have been here for a couple of days, but still, welcome to the Trek BBS!

For future reference, please be aware that one of the board rules is about avoiding to resurrect dead threads, i.e. threads that did not have “a post in it in over a year”. This one had its last post over seven years ago. Board staff is pretty lenient when it comes to acting on this rule, especially with new board members. If a new post adds a significant piece of information (i.e. something other than basically writing “Hey, that's cool!”) or starts up an entirely new discussion, moderators will general decide to leave the thread open. Otherwise these dead threads get to be closed after being resurrected. It's my personal policy to also look if the original poster is still active on the board and could even see you commenting on their post. @Johnnymuffintop in this case seems to still be a member, even though they haven't logged on in a couple of months.
