I think they gave models of the new Enterprise to different people or companies around the world so that they could modify them however they wanted.

I think these may be connected with the decorated models which were on display at the Arclight, as shown in this article. I seem to recall reading somewhere that there would be more of these decorated models seen; the decoration/modification is the work of individual artists -- not sure if it's just people from the L.A. area or all over.Can someone 'splain what these models are about...? I don't understand....![]()
