The Never Ending Sacrifice extract in Star Trek Magazine #20

I got the new StarTrek magazine in the mail yesterday and read the book excerpt for The Never ending sacrifice. It was nice to see Rugal experiences on Cardassia and not to post too many spoilers connects to the ds9 tv series during season 6 was well done I liked the mention of Tora Ziyal.Una McCormack's book is definitely something I'm looking forward to reading, to see what happens next with the changes on Cardassia and the Dominion being there as well and what happened while they were in control of the Cardassian government.

This should officially now be turning up on newsstands across America !

...obligatory "Why isn't in the UK yet" post...;)

Obligatory "Cos we ain't invented the transporter yet!" reply ;) Seriously, start checking Smiths etc quite soon - I've been told that they are hitting shelves quite a bit earlier than we've announced recently (not just on Trek but on all titles).
Will it land on my doorstep sooner than it hits Smiths?

If you're a subscriber, it's meant to! The vagaries of the Post Office are outside my control - but PM me the day you get it!

I bought my copy on Saturday from Barnes and Nobles. Some good stuff in this issue but a little on the thin side.

I liked the ds9 book excerpt and the book reviews. I really hope in an upcoming issue we'll get more info about The Enterprise novel The Romulan war and the events continuing in the book after this one will be released and who the author will be for future Enterprise books .

Actually, that information will probably be revealed here, long before anything about it is said in the magazine.

It's the first 68 pager in some time - so it will feel thinner. What more were you expecting?

Your wish is our command. Sort of. The Fiction Extract in #21 is from the next Enterprise novel with an introduction by Michael A. Martin...

Paul thank you for the info about the upcoming Enterprise novel and Micheal A.Martin's introduction. This is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping to read in the upcoming StarTrek Magazine.

The instruction to everyone writing for the magazine is not to be producing material that fans can find elsewhere. Inevitably that happens on news items when there's such a long lead time (unlike online sites, we have to be checked and double checked for accuracy before we can go to print, and can't print rumour!), but where we can, we do.

Paul

The book is out at Bakka-Phœnix in Toronto. Picked up my copy there. Intriguing at first leaf-through...

I'm expecting mine any day now, provided the postal service strikes in the UK haven't derailed everything completely.

Where abouts are you Benny as the post around me has not been affected, surprisingly, it's actually been a good hour earlier than normal.

I'm in North London. Did you have post on Monday/Tuesday this past week? because as far as I was aware there was a postal strike.

Thats because London is not the whole of the country, we still had post here though and it came before mid day!
