The Mysterious Cities of Gold - Part 2

It doesn't leave much time to find the remaining cities. Maybe they'll find two cities next season, then the remaining three in the fourth, if the series starts to pick up the pace when approaching the final episodes.

As far as I'm concerned each city can have it's own season. Seven seasons is a nice "round" number... ok, not so round but 7 would be great!

Think they will get an updated golden condor with more cool stuff in it? Maybe living quarters... stuff like that. Maybe something jet like perhaps?

I found this fan pic a while back I thougt it was pretty cool...

How annoying, I cant post in the yahoo groups, keep getting an error so I can't ask... Where is episode 24? I'm dying to see what happens next!

Love the English trailer!!! Nov 9th!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!

Ok I registered and it translated in chrome... looks like it worked. Thanks

From the end of this week's episode, it looks like there will be new opening credits next year. So unless they decide to change them again mid-season, they probably will spend 26 episodes in Japan. http://i42.tinypic.com/fx6vcg.jpg

Mysterious Cities of Gold: Secret Paths Will Find Its Way Onto the Wii U eShop on 21st November

During the Summer we told you about Mysterious Cities of Gold: Secret Paths, which is based on the popular Japanese / French animated series of the same name; its popularity is on the rise again since its '80s glory days, and the game will be updated with free DLC to match up with new episodes of the show. With most fans being in France, Neko Entertainment and Ynnis Interactive successfully ran a Kickstarter campaign to fund an english localisation — the title was ultimately confirmed for both the Wii U and 3DS eShop platforms.

Originally planned for an October release, the publisher and developer have now revealed the final release date, with the title coming to the Wii U on 21st November — as well as iPad, iPhone and PC; the 3DS release will come "a couple of weeks later". You'll control up to three characters at a time to solve puzzles, with executive producer Fleur Marty telling us it's an experience that's "'cooperative solo' because of how you get to play it together as a family", with the developer hopeful that children will get help from relatives as they play the game.

With its arrival less than a week away on the Wii U, are you interested in picking this up? If you want to know a bit more be sure to check out our interview with the developer.

Looks like no more episodes until 2015

It's official, season 3 has been ordered. But as stated above, no new episode until 2015...

Someone has emailed Blue Spirit Productions. It seems that season 3 needs at least a year to be completed.

Hello

Thank you for your email and your interest.

We don't know about USA, but the Les Mystérieuses Cités d'Or - Saison 2 is already available in Canada (Téléquebec + DVD).

Concerning season 3, we need to work more than 1 year again to be able to finish it !

Best regards

Interviewed by Toutelatele, Eric Paul Marais, one of the writers of the animated series, spoke of the advantages of this new season compared to the previous two: "I think that in terms of quality, we all reached a plateau "did he thus said, before continuing" we certainly gained share, psychological richness to the characters, and then you travel a lot, which is perhaps a way to reconnect with season 1 was very traveling ".

The full interview with Eric Paul Marais (writer) and Didier Lejeune (Writing Director of season 2, season 3 writer), Jean-Luc François (director seasons 2 and 3) and Pierre-Alain Garrigues (voice of Ambrosius and Zares) are to meet soon on Toutelatele.

Damnit. I keep forgetting. :o

Has it been released on R1 DVD with English subtitles/dubbing?

Ironically, when season 02 was announced, some people were complaining about it not being hand-drawn animation, like the original, yet even with it being computer-animated, it takes years for them to release a new season.
