Re: STXI Theme

Saving the full theme to the end a la Casino Royale is a definite possibility, but I guess that as with that movie the elements of the theme will crop up throughout.

With MI-III Giacchino gave us a score heavily dependent on Schifrin's original themes (far more faithfully than either Elfman or Zimmer in the previous movies), and with a very jazz-based mechanic to it all (Schifrin was primarily a jazz composer). Having said that, the MI-III score, though exciting and faithful to the original themes, doesn't have any really memorable leitmotifs or passages other than the Schifrin elements.

So I'd expect a very Courage-referent score with an Aaron Copeland vibe to it, leaning towards jarring discord in the action scenes.

(FWIW, Giacchino's finest score is still, IMO, Medal Of Honor Frontline)
