Why isn't there a "better than 'Raiders' and 'Temple' option?". Is it so inconceivable that someone could have such an opinion?
I was really disappointed with the first sequel. I actually don't mind the girl and kid (who most people seem to dislike). I thought Kate Capshaw was pretty entertaining, actually.
What annoyed me about that movie was all the poverty and gore. Not that I have no tolerance for gore in movies, it just seemed out of place in what was supposed to be a fun adventure movie. While a lot about that movie bugged me, I gotta admit it probably has the best sequence in all of the Indiana Jones movies in that amazingly awesome mine cart scene.
