Game The Most Disliked Trek Couple

[Sakonna]

THE OBJECTIVE: A sudden-death elimination game in which we remove our personal favorite couples from a themed list, until we arrive at the couple that is, if not the worst, at least the most disliked.

THE RULES: Below is a list of couples from across the Trek franchise.

Eliminate/save your favorite, or the one you deem the ‘best.’
Post something you love about the coupld you are saving, and copy-and-paste the list with your choice removed.

You can use any standard you like to judge which option is "best."

But -- no tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode because you don’t think anyone else will, or because you feel it would threaten your preferred episode's chance to “win.”

You can take multiple turns. Leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

New players are always welcome, you do not have to already be a "most disliked game" regular to dive in.

My first pick is a wonderful portrayal of a married couple... Miles and Keiko.

Especially as I've gotten older, I feel this was the most realistic portrayal of marriage the franchise ever did.

I'll go for Odo/Kira. I think they were handled relatively well during season seven of DS9. I loved the moment in Chimera where Odo meets her halfway with that mist. I also enjoyed Kira's reaction to knowing about Odo being sick, but letting him carry on regardless.

The very end of WYLB where Odo says goodbye to her in his tux as well...

Spoiler: Picard S2

I really loved them as well, I just wish they hadn't killed Zhaban off this season as their chemistry was good to watch.

I loved them in S1, so I was happy to hear Laris would appear more this year. It's a case of, be careful what you wish for!

I'll go for Sarek/Amanda next. I just loved the family interactions in Journey to Babel, and seeing Amanda in Star Trek 4 was a treat.

Mark Lenard was always great in the role.
