Game The Most Disliked J.G. Hertzler Appearance

A Time to Stand. I forgot how much I liked that one. Odo steamrolling Weyoun was a standout bit. And, removing "What you Leave Behind", which was mysteriously returned to the list.

DS9 Season 5: "Blaze Of Glory"(Martok)
DS9 Season 6: "Sons And Daughters" (Martok)
DS9 Season 6: "Favor The Bold" (Martok)
DS9 Season 6: "Tears Of The Prophets" (Martok, Prophet)
DS9 Season 7: "Image In The Sand" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "The Emperor's New Cloak" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "Strange Bedfellows" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "The Changing Face Of Evil" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "When It Rains..."(Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "The Dogs Of War"(Martok)
ENT Season 2: "Judgment" (Kolos)
ENT Season 4: "Borderland"(Klingon Captain)
LD Season 1: "Terminal Provocations" (Drookmani Captain)

"Blaze of Glory" was a worthy finale for Eddington, who turned out to have a little more to him than Sisko expected, and a solid episode for Sisko, who was able to admit it despite their long-standing animosity.

DS9 Season 6: "Sons And Daughters" (Martok)
DS9 Season 6: "Favor The Bold" (Martok)
DS9 Season 6: "Tears Of The Prophets" (Martok, Prophet)
DS9 Season 7: "Image In The Sand" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "The Emperor's New Cloak" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "Strange Bedfellows" (Martok)

DS9 Season 7: "The Dogs Of War"(Martok)
ENT Season 2: "Judgment" (Kolos)
ENT Season 4: "Borderland"(Klingon Captain)
LD Season 1: "Terminal Provocations" (Drookmani Captain)

Saving "THE CHANGING FACE OF EVIL".

A lot happened here... Damar, Breen attacking Earth, the Defiant destroyed.

DS9 Season 6: "Sons And Daughters" (Martok)
DS9 Season 6: "Favor The Bold" (Martok)
DS9 Season 6: "Tears Of The Prophets" (Martok, Prophet)
DS9 Season 7: "Image In The Sand" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "The Emperor's New Cloak" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "Strange Bedfellows" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "When It Rains..."(Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "The Dogs Of War"(Martok)
ENT Season 2: "Judgment" (Kolos)
ENT Season 4: "Borderland"(Klingon Captain)
LD Season 1: "Terminal Provocations" (Drookmani Captain)

The Dogs of War, despite being a little abrupt, brought a nice resolution to the Ferengi. Rom being the Nagus of the new Ferenginar was perfect.

DS9 Season 6: "Sons And Daughters" (Martok)
DS9 Season 6: "Favor The Bold" (Martok)
DS9 Season 6: "Tears Of The Prophets" (Martok, Prophet)
DS9 Season 7: "Image In The Sand" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "The Emperor's New Cloak" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "Strange Bedfellows" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "When It Rains..."(Martok)
ENT Season 2: "Judgment" (Kolos)
ENT Season 4: "Borderland"(Klingon Captain)
LD Season 1: "Terminal Provocations" (Drookmani Captain)

"Tears Of The Prophets" is a super interesting way to take us out of DS9's penultimate season. I was so used to the big explosive cliffhangers at this point, and instead they slide into hiatus on such a quiet, sad note of total defeat. It really threw me.

DS9 Season 6: "Sons And Daughters" (Martok)
DS9 Season 6: "Favor The Bold" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "Image In The Sand" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "The Emperor's New Cloak" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "Strange Bedfellows" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "When It Rains..." (Martok)
ENT Season 2: "Judgment" (Kolos)
ENT Season 4: "Borderland" (Klingon Captain)
LD Season 1: "Terminal Provocations" (Drookmani Captain)

Saving "STRANGE BEDFELLOWS".

"Maybe you should talk to Worf." - Damar

On paper, Ronald D. Moore is possibly the funniest writer in the franchise.

DS9 Season 6: "Sons And Daughters" (Martok)
DS9 Season 6: "Favor The Bold" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "Image In The Sand" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "The Emperor's New Cloak" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "When It Rains..." (Martok)
ENT Season 2: "Judgment" (Kolos)
ENT Season 4: "Borderland" (Klingon Captain)
LD Season 1: "Terminal Provocations" (Drookmani Captain)

When it Rains... is the remaining final chapter episode so it's gone. We find out that Odo has the changeling disease, and Garak has to put aside his grudge against Damar from when he killed Ziyal, and help the Cardassian rebellion. Meanwhile, Martok gets an award from Gowron because he's awesome, but ends up being made a soldier so that Gowron can soothe his ego and command troops. Nothing will go wrong there! :techman:

Season 6: "Sons And Daughters" (Martok)
DS9 Season 6: "Favor The Bold" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "Image In The Sand" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "The Emperor's New Cloak" (Martok)
ENT Season 2: "Judgment" (Kolos)
ENT Season 4: "Borderland" (Klingon Captain)
LD Season 1: "Terminal Provocations" (Drookmani Captain)

"Favor The Bold" I do love the Occupation Arc, though this piece is easy to overlook as setup for the big finish.

DS9 Season 6: "Sons And Daughters" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "Image In The Sand" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "The Emperor's New Cloak" (Martok)
ENT Season 2: "Judgment" (Kolos)
ENT Season 4: "Borderland" (Klingon Captain)
LD Season 1: "Terminal Provocations" (Drookmani Captain)

Saving "SONS AND DAUGHTERS".

It's not a terrible episode, mainly because the station stuff is much better than Worf's story here.

But the reason I am saving it is going to seem odd.

"When a father and son do not speak, it means there is trouble between them."

I have gotten so much humorous mileage from Martokisms like that... you have no idea how many obvious statements I've made using Hertzler's delivery.

"When the clouds are out and you feel rain, it means it is raining now."

"When you chew the food and swallow, it means you have eaten food."

Only Hertzler could have delivered that line as well as he did. And I love him for it.

DS9 Season 7: "Image In The Sand" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "The Emperor's New Cloak" (Martok)
ENT Season 2: "Judgment" (Kolos)
ENT Season 4: "Borderland" (Klingon Captain)
LD Season 1: "Terminal Provocations" (Drookmani Captain)

Gonna remove LD Season 1: "Terminal Provocations" for the legendary Zebulon Sisters and their Chu Chu Dance. And the Drookmani Captain was pretty creative by hurling Federation trash at the Cerritos.

DS9 Season 7: "Image In The Sand" (Martok)
DS9 Season 7: "The Emperor's New Cloak" (Martok)
ENT Season 2: "Judgment" (Kolos)
ENT Season 4: "Borderland" (Klingon Captain)

Image In The Sand is an often overlooked episode of DS9, falling as it does in the middle of a loose trilogy, but I think it's memorable. It is at turns visceral, surreal and at times even disorienting and the cast give it everything. Hats off to Michael Dorn.

DS9 Season 7: "The Emperor's New Cloak" (Martok)
ENT Season 2: "Judgment" (Kolos)
ENT Season 4: "Borderland" (Klingon Captain)

I'll save The Emporer's New Cloak as whilst it was an unsatisfying end to the Mirror Universe story, there was some decent humor in it to keep me interested.

Unfortunately, Borderland is somewhat beige to me and doesn't hold my interest outside of Brent Spiner. I think it's partly because of the actors playing the Augments, which is a shame.

I thought "Sons and Daughters" would win. Alexander in that episode made Brian Bonsall Alexander look awesome.

But, you never know.

Along with the more obvious Storm Front and These Are The Voyages, it's the one arc in S4 that doesn't do it for me.
