This is a twist on a game that is played here, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your most favorite or the one you deem the 'best.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode because you feel they would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

I am getting the ball rolling with one of my favorite episodes of the series... "TINKER TENOR DOCTOR SPY".

A great Doctor episode, that is not only hilarious (the teaser is easily one of the funniest scenes in the franchise) but has some great character moments for him, particularly when Janeway watches his daydream talking to daydream captain about all he ever wanted to be was the most useful person for his crew.

I'm delighted, and even a little honored, to save "One Small Step," a deeply moving tribute to space exploration and space explorers. John Kelly's determination to keep exploring, even in the face of his own impending death, had me in tears. And I completely sympathized with Chakotay's desire to rescue the Mars spacecraft.

Blink of an Eye is my first save. I love seeing the planet develop so quickly from the crew's perspective, and that they develop to the point where they can launch and help move the ship once and for all.

"Survival Instinct" is marred by the insanity of that "let's get them re-assimilated!" plan, but it has a lot else going for it -- compelling backstory for Seven, strong guest performances, an emotionally impactful, haunting, and morally grey climax. And, as an obsessive fan, there's something irresistibly intriguing about Ron Moore's singular solo Voyager writing credit -- and it is kind of hilarious that he essentially turned Voyager into DS9 for the week.

Since "SURVIVAL INSTINCT" and "BLINK OF AN EYE" have been saved already, I have only two others that are my favorites of the season.

"MEMORIAL" is next for me. The performances were outstanding, and it was a fantastic concept. This one is always a rewatch.

There’s something up with “The Voyager Conspiracy” I tells ya! Outside of a dropped comments here and there regarding being stranded by the Caretaker, Voyager didn’t really refer to its past very much, this episode went into the shows history well with Sevens random conspiracy theories.

My next save is "DRAGON'S TEETH". Great episode, loved the tension. I really wish we saw the Vaadwaur again... they were supposed to be a recurring villain. Given how they were centuries out of date with their technology, I feel like they could have been the Kazon if they were done right.

The preposterous retcon of Lyndsay Ballard into Voyager's history is a big problem. But, if that character had actually been set up, "Ashes To Ashes" would have been a nearly perfect episode.

I actually talked to Kim Rhodes, who played Lyndsey Ballard, at this year's DragonCon. She told me she had never worked single camera style before, and how much Kate taught her about acting in that environment. She gave a lot of credit of her performances to her. Kim was a sweet woman. Great conversation and was a lot of fun.

Muse. This is probably one of my favorite episodes of the show. B'elanna episodes are always a plus for showing how great an actor she actually was. And I really like this story, and its commentary on the writers room. It's also good to see her strong friendship with Kim which was more prominent in the early seasons.
