"Demon" is entertaining in a high-concept kind of way, even if the Deuterium shortage is ludicrous. It was certainly better than its dreadful and depressing sequel, "Course: Oblivion."

I'll save Retrospect - honestly, I wasn't so sure that Seven didn't tell the truth after all, and the crew was a bit fast in not believing her. I like the ambiguity of this episode.

I'll save Revulsion, if only because it gives the Doctor another chance to interact with a hologram. Except, this one's a murderer... Shoot, The Doctor always interacts with malevolent holograms!!

Wow. With the string of saves, I'm thinking this season's most disliked episode will be the most controversial, especially since the 2 remaining episodes aren't the ones with the most hate. In fact, wasn't "One" fairly well received? I know it was at the time. Has it changed? I know "Course: Oblivion"'s reception has gone way up since it originally aired.

I'm not voting for either of those! I really like them both.

Well, to end the season I'll save One, so Random Thoughts is the winner. I love One as it cool to see how Seven reacts under all the pressure that builds. It's a smidge better than Random Thoughts, which I also like as Seven has a fun role with all of the thoughts of the different people.

Unforgettable and Demon were my stinkers of the year, but season four had a lot of decent episodes.

"One" is the best of what's left and I actually enjoyed the psychological thriller elements to it. "Random Thoughts", OTOH was purely filler without any real characterisation development, which "One" had in abundance as it was a Seven of Nine episode. The worst episode of the season, rightfully won.

I think Unforgettable should have made it to the final 2, to be honest. There are too many plotholes with an alien that can wipe itself from your memory.

Wow, "Random Thoughts" is a really solid episode. Not good.

 

[Seven of Five]

I would say Unforgettable and Demon should have been duking it out for most disliked this season, but then this game has the effect for shock results.
