The Most Disliked Episode of VOY, Season 6 - 2025 Edition...

Voyager was engaged in a deeply desperate project to squeeze absolutely as much juice out of the Borg as possible, and I greatly appreciate "Collective" for having a smart sideways idea on how to manage yet another Borg episode.

"FAIR HAVEN"
"MEMORIAL"
"SPIRIT FOLK"
"CHILD'S PLAY"
"GOOD SHEPHERD"
"THE HAUNTING OF DECK TWELVE"

I was going to save "Collective", but as that's already gone, I'll save "Child's Play" instead. I liked the Borg kids, and this look at how Icheb came to be assimilated and Seven's protectiveness is quite touching.

"FAIR HAVEN"
"MEMORIAL"
"SPIRIT FOLK"
"GOOD SHEPHERD"
"THE HAUNTING OF DECK TWELVE"

We're into the low scorers now. Memorial doesnt feel especially original but has a couple of good performances in it so I guess that will be my save.

Fair Haven has "delete the wife" and between the final three that's all I can say to any merit.

"FAIR HAVEN"
"SPIRIT FOLK"
"THE HAUNTING OF DECK TWELVE"

Since the only options left are both Fair Haven-based, I'll take the hit to my street cred and save "Fair Haven". I get why people hate both episodes but honestly I find them very watchable, Janeway's romance with Sullivan is so overwrought (by design?) that it becomes downright funny, and I genuinely look forward to the episode on rewatches.

DELETE THE WIFE

Spirit Folk wins!

Too bad I wasn't paying attention... I might have saved either of those two. FH because of Janeway's wife-deletion, and SF because it's the perfect New Year's Eve episode: start it at 11:49:35, and Harry smooches the cow at midnight. But I guess now I'm on the opposite end of the "a bad episode only needs one fan" business.
