The MOST Disliked Episode of The Animated Series - Season 1...

Farscape One

Admiral
Admiral
This is a twist on a game that is played here, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I am very curious to see the results.

Here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your most favorite or the one you deem the 'best.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, wait six hours and leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode because you feel they would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

Hall of Champions (or Failures?)
2018 -

Season One -

BEYOND THE FARTHEST STAR
YESTERYEAR
ONE OF OUR PLANETS IS MISSING
THE LORELEI SIGNAL
MORE TRIBBLES, MORE TROUBLES
THE SURVIVOR
THE INFINITE VULCAN
THE MAGICKS OF MEGAS-TU
ONCE UPON A PLANET
MUDD'S PASSION
THE TERRATIN INCIDENT
THE TIME TRAP
THE AMBERGRIS ELEMENT
THE SLAVER WEAPON
THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER
JIHAD

I am going to save "YESTERYEAR". The reasons are very obvious.

BEYOND THE FARTHEST STAR
ONE OF OUR PLANETS IS MISSING
THE LORELEI SIGNAL
MORE TRIBBLES, MORE TROUBLES
THE SURVIVOR
THE INFINITE VULCAN
THE MAGICKS OF MEGAS-TU
ONCE UPON A PLANET
MUDD'S PASSION
THE TERRATIN INCIDENT
THE TIME TRAP
THE AMBERGRIS ELEMENT
THE SLAVER WEAPON
THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER
JIHAD

I'm so confused about these polls.
I'm going to save something I like "JIHAD".
I like the hall of champions idea and the fact that Kirk and Spock weren't put on the number one team and that its Kirk that's being chatted up for a change.

BEYOND THE FARTHEST STAR
ONE OF OUR PLANETS IS MISSING
THE LORELEI SIGNAL
MORE TRIBBLES, MORE TROUBLES
THE SURVIVOR
THE INFINITE VULCAN
THE MAGICKS OF MEGAS-TU
ONCE UPON A PLANET
MUDD'S PASSION
THE TERRATIN INCIDENT
THE TIME TRAP
THE AMBERGRIS ELEMENT
THE SLAVER WEAPON
THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

I will save "Once Upon a Planet." The Shore Leave Planet was a great idea that wasn't overused. It was a fun place to visit again.

BEYOND THE FARTHEST STAR
ONE OF OUR PLANETS IS MISSING
THE LORELEI SIGNAL
MORE TRIBBLES, MORE TROUBLES
THE SURVIVOR
THE INFINITE VULCAN
THE MAGICKS OF MEGAS-TU
MUDD'S PASSION
THE TERRATIN INCIDENT
THE TIME TRAP
THE AMBERGRIS ELEMENT
THE SLAVER WEAPON
THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

I'm having a lot of tribble deciding between which one of two particular episodes I should save, but I'll send out "One of Our Planets is Missing," as the discussion over whether or not to destroy the planet-eating cloud was probably handled more maturely than anything else in this series outside of "Yesteryear."

BEYOND THE FARTHEST STAR
THE LORELEI SIGNAL
MORE TRIBBLES, MORE TROUBLES
THE SURVIVOR
THE INFINITE VULCAN
THE MAGICKS OF MEGAS-TU
MUDD'S PASSION
THE TERRATIN INCIDENT
THE TIME TRAP
THE AMBERGRIS ELEMENT
THE SLAVER WEAPON
THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

The Survivor is a favorite of mine. I like the idea of someone driven to aid the Romulans after being rejected by his own people, but turning against the Romulans when he finds acceptance aboard the Enterprise. Plus, Ted Knight!

BEYOND THE FARTHEST STAR
THE LORELEI SIGNAL
MORE TRIBBLES, MORE TROUBLES
THE INFINITE VULCAN
THE MAGICKS OF MEGAS-TU
MUDD'S PASSION
THE TERRATIN INCIDENT
THE TIME TRAP
THE AMBERGRIS ELEMENT
THE SLAVER WEAPON
THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

I am saving "THE TIME TRAP". Very much like VGR's "THE VOID", which is a personal favorite of mine. I really like those kind of stories where we see Federation principles come together like that.

BEYOND THE FARTHEST STAR
THE LORELEI SIGNAL
MORE TRIBBLES, MORE TROUBLES
THE INFINITE VULCAN
THE MAGICKS OF MEGAS-TU
MUDD'S PASSION
THE TERRATIN INCIDENT
THE AMBERGRIS ELEMENT
THE SLAVER WEAPON
THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

"More Tribbles, More Troubles," the one I nearly saved last time is still in, so I'll take it out now. Not as good as the original, but still a very worthy outing.

BEYOND THE FARTHEST STAR
THE LORELEI SIGNAL
THE INFINITE VULCAN
THE MAGICKS OF MEGAS-TU
MUDD'S PASSION
THE TERRATIN INCIDENT
THE AMBERGRIS ELEMENT
THE SLAVER WEAPON
THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

"Beyond the Farthest Star" was an intelligent episode, with a haunting ending.

THE LORELEI SIGNAL
THE INFINITE VULCAN
THE MAGICKS OF MEGAS-TU
MUDD'S PASSION
THE TERRATIN INCIDENT
THE AMBERGRIS ELEMENT
THE SLAVER WEAPON
THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

The Lorelei Signal, because Uhura gets to take charge!

THE INFINITE VULCAN
THE MAGICKS OF MEGAS-TU
MUDD'S PASSION
THE TERRATIN INCIDENT
THE AMBERGRIS ELEMENT
THE SLAVER WEAPON
THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

"The Terratin Incident," which was not only one of the show's most visually inventive stories, but even managed to handle the "miniaturised crew" scenario far better than DS9's "One Little Ship" would two decades later.

THE INFINITE VULCAN
THE MAGICKS OF MEGAS-TU
MUDD'S PASSION
THE AMBERGRIS ELEMENT
THE SLAVER WEAPON
THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

Casting a protective spell over "The Magicks of Megas-Tu" for being beautiful, and beautifully weird.

THE INFINITE VULCAN
MUDD'S PASSION
THE AMBERGRIS ELEMENT
THE SLAVER WEAPON
THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

The Slaver Weapon is one of my favourites. They underestimated both Spock and Uhura. I loved the interplay between the three man team of Spock, Uhura and Sulu without Kirk's overwhelming presence (just for a change).. Wished they filmed this for TOS.

THE INFINITE VULCAN
MUDD'S PASSION
THE AMBERGRIS ELEMENT
THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

The Eye of the Beholder; it's pretty forgettable, but still the best of the four remaining stories.

THE INFINITE VULCAN
MUDD'S PASSION
THE AMBERGRIS ELEMENT

I will reluctantly save "THE INFINITE VULCAN". It really is a ridiculous concept, but the other two episodes were just worse in multiple ways.

MUDD'S PASSION
THE AMBERGRIS ELEMENT

A lukewarm endorsement for "Mudd's Passion." Partly because, as a girl, I enjoyed the interseries continuity in bringing Harry back, and partly because he was so surprised that his con actually worked (kinda-sorta).

Which leaves:
THE AMBERGRIS ELEMENT
