The MOST Disliked Episode of STAR TREK - Season One...

I get it. People don’t like “Miri”. But for all its faults, this episode shows the landing party working as a team, gave us “beaker full of death,” and Kim Darby. This isn’t tactical: I really like it.

CHARLIE X
MUDD'S WOMEN

Well, not much of a choice here, "Charlie X" is far superior to the loser!

MUDD'S WOMEN

Harrumph. I'd gladly watch a marathon of Charlie X, Mudd's Women, and Miri before I'd watch The Man Trap again. Indeed, the Hallmark Christmas tree ornament of the salt vampire attempting to eat Kirk was the only Hallmark Star Trek ornament I've ever actually turned up my nose at. So many really dumb ideas.

Mudd's Women is bad but I think The Alternative Factor is far worse. It's a jumbled, incoherent mess as well as an assault on the senses.

Get your popcorn ready. When the season 2 most disliked thread gets started, I, Mudd might just be the last one standing. Imagine that....Mudd's Women and I, Mudd could be back to back losers.

I doubt it. IM is genuinely funny. OTOH the consensus worst ep of S2 is generally a harder question than asking the same about S1 or S3.

MUDD'S WOMEN
In the 23rd century, life on Earth will be so bad that females will be offering themselves as mail order brides to lonely, middleaged, balding human males working light years away from Sol.

LOL! Can't disagree, even if "Man Trap" was the first aired episode to show a monster that's not just a 2D cardboard monster but actual intelligent being. It's definitely nowhere near TOS' finest, though...

But even "The Man Trap" has more meat to it than, dare I say its name the same way I say "Star Wars 1978 Holiday Special"? Oh very well: "The Alternative Factor".

I find it ironic that the winner and Runner-Up for this season were originally pitches that were for either of the pilots.
