The Most Disliked Episode of LDS, Season 5 - 2025 Edition...

Welcome to our bi-yearly 'Most Disliked Episode' games! Now that the 'Least Disliked Episode' games hosted by BlueStuff (who inspired me to create these games, so thank you very much for paving the way) have concluded, we can begin the opposite side of that coin.

Here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your most favorite or the one you deem the 'best.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode because you feel they would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

My first save of the final season is "Fissure Quest".

Not only was it a great, fun story, but there was a lot of heart and meaning in it.

Bonus points for having such a HUGE stack of guests: Garak, Bashir, AND Kim are already big enough. But as if that weren't enough, they managed to nab Alfre Woodard to return as Lily Sloane again!

But even MORE amazing? They got Jolene Blalock to come back as T'Pol!

Just absolutely awesome!

Much as I love the finale, I love "A Farewell to Farms" more. I was more than done with the Klingons before I first saw this ep, but I loved this look at non-military life - it made the empire far more interesting. And Ma'ah and Malor are a couple of my favourite guest characters

The Best Exotic Nanite Hotel is a fun adventure offering the much needed closure to Mariner and Jennifer since she completely blanked her in the season 3 finale.

I love "Of Gods And Angles." It's such a classic, throwback Trek episode, but it's so funny and absurd at the same time. Great Mariner story. Very satisfying.

Despite the shirtless Rutherford and ostentatious skewer of "Fully Dilated", I'm saving "The New Next Generation". I think this thrilling, character-packed finale is a wonderful send off to the Lower Deckers and the amazing crew of the Cerritos. There's so much going on (a little too much, perhaps - another 5 minutes would have been nice*) but a particular favourite part is Tendi & T'Lyn's "Science besties!" scene

Saving "Fully Dilated".

Just a great episode for Mariner, Tendi, and T'Lyn. But my biggest reason for saving?

Data! I'm so happy he got to be in an episode before the series ended.

"Dos Cerritos" is a great start to S5 - and with twice the crew too! And seeing the Mistress of the Winter Constellations in action was awesome!

Upper Decks is the hilarious take on what exactly is going on for the rest of the crew.

Shade of Green is the loser.

And "Shades of Green" is feeling a shade of blue for being the winner of season 5.
