Precious Cargo has Padma Lakshmi; Bounty has a Tellarite. I think I'd rather watch the Tellarite. Padma's fine as a host on Top Chef. The acting just ain't there.

I am not really surprised that this episode won, though I have to say, I refrained from voting after "THE BREACH" was saved because I just couldn't bring myself to vote for ANY of the remaining episodes.

I sat this one out, because I still haven't seen all of Enterprise season 2, though I'm in the middle of a (re)watch right now. "Precious Cargo" was the very episode where I stopped being a regular viewer back in the day, this is exactly where I gave up on Enterprise. And, oddly enough, "Precious Cargo" is where I am at in my rewatch right now -- dead in the middle of it, I got halfway through the other day and then something happened and I had to step away.

I wonder -- is it all happening again? Is this the end of my Enterprise (re)watch, has "Precious Cargo" ruined me for the whole series once again?

There were some mediocre rpisodes in season two, but season three was,a vast improvement of the series.

Season 4 was the best of ENTERPRISE, and one of the best in all the franchise. As far as I'm concerned, there were only 2 episodes that were bad... and I hope those are the two that end up at the bottom of season 4's pile when that thread begins. (I won't say which ones so I don't influence the voting, but I am pretty sure one of them is almost universally reviled. )

My point is, please don't give up on the series. Don't cheat yourself out of some quality episodes that are to come.
