The MOST Disliked Episode of ENTERPRISE - Season Four...

You make a fair point.

I wasn't trying to get others to vote tactically, only explaining why I went with the second part before the first. I might have gotten carried away while explaining, as I have been known to do on occasion.

I suppose the only thing I can do is going forward, I will refrain from saying what I want to save next.

Which looks like it will be whatever future year we do these polls again. I'll be around, at least.

I think some people will vote tactical no matter what you say or do. It's in our nature. We want to extend our control on things beyond what it is allotted us.

I deleted These Are The Voyages, I thought it was fun addendum to the show and enjoyed seeing the TNG characters inexplicably overweight and old, which was easily explained away by some good ol' fan wanking. ;)

STORM FRONT
STORM FRONT, PART II
AWAKENING
DAEDALUS
AFFLICTION

Well, this isn't the first round the episode I would have picked as the odds on favorite didn't make it to the end. It'll be interesting to see which one emerges as the winner now.

I think it's the whole point of this exercise that the favorite doesn't necessarily make it to the end. If it did it would lose most of its appeal.

STORM FRONT, PART II
AWAKENING
DAEDALUS
AFFLICTION

I don't care which one wins since the one I hate the most was saved....

“Awakening”, one of the better episodes of Enterprise. Unfortunately it came a little too late to catch most viewers, but it helped correct the Vulcan story arc that ‘Enterprise’ has been running since Season 1.

STORM FRONT, PART II
DAEDALUS
AFFLICTION

Apparently, "STORM FRONT" was left out of the list without being eliminated.

Here is the correct list...

STORM FRONT
STORM FRONT, PART II
DAEDALUS
AFFLICTION

Saving Storm Front II. I enjoy the absurdity of it, seeing Enterprise flying over Brooklyn combating phaser armed WWII planes. It's an episode that embraces the craziness of the Temporal Cold War arc while at the same time finishing it. I even like how Archer just tells Daniels to fuck off so we can get this show moving forward.

STORM FRONT
DAEDALUS
AFFLICTION

My final save for the series is going to be "AFFLICTION". Same reason as my previous save, which is I like how they were trying to explain the Klingon forehead issue.

STORM FRONT
DAEDALUS

The 'winner' of the final season of ENTERPRISE is "STORM FRONT".

This final season... the 'winner' was completely not what I expected. I figured "STORM FRONT" would be toward the bottom, but I was certain "THESE ARE THE VOYAGES..." and "DAEDALUS" would be the final two. At least I was right about "DAEDALUS".

This has been exciting, all the way through. For all series. Thank you all for voting. I shall begin the final part for this series, and the year's game, shortly.

Was Storm Front not saved by NyotaRules? She didn't specifically say she was saying it, but her post repeated the list with only that episode removed, so I thought that was a save.

Are you demanding a recount?

The problem is that people voted with the idea that Stormfront was still on the table, they could have voted differently if it had been known that it was no longer an option.

I'll leave that up to everyone else, but it doesn't look to me like Storm Front was the "true" winner here. It would really only mean re-doing the final two votes if necessary, as tomswift2002's vote assumed it had been saved.

The best way would be to start a vote (on whether to redo the last few on the list) but in a separate thread as some people may have assumed that the selection was over.

On the other hand, the rules say that a valid reason has to be given for the elimination of any given episode; NyotaRules didn't do that, and just commented about not caring who won now that TATV was out of the running.

I have to agree with this. No reason, valid or otherwise, was given. It looked to me like a simple comment.
