This is a twist on a game that is played here, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your most favorite or the one you deem the 'best.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode because you feel they would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

[Farscape One]

Season 3 was a turning point for the show. The Xindi season long arc was a bold experiment for the franchise, and I think it worked for the most part. Some really great ones here, and I'll start off with "SIMILITUDE".

Manny Coto's first episode shows why he was a great addition to the writers' room, and why he ended up in charge of it next season. Great story, great acting, and a moral grey area for Archer. This was a gem for season 3 and the series.

[BoTWoT]

Saving ZERO HOUR. Fantastic wrap up to a fantastic season. Enterprise keeps the tradition of taking 3 seasons to "git gud" in Trek. Very satisfying payoff to the first seasonlong arc in Trek history.

I also totally agree that Simlitude is the best episode of the season. If you don't cry a little, even inside, you may be an Insectoid.

I don't have as much affection for this season as most viewers do -- though it is certainly an ENORMOUS step up from season two!

I actually adore "Carpenter Street." I watched all of Enterprise for the first time in only the last few year, during original air I gave up at "Precious Cargo." I would watch random episodes from the later seasons here and there over the years, trying to get interested. Nothing ever grabbed me.

Until "Carpenter Street"! Somehow that was where it clicked and suddenly I was interested enough to watch all of it. I guess I just can't resist Trek time-traveling to contemporary Earth.

Saving "TWILIGHT".

It's a massive reset button, but the performances were stellar. The moment T'Pol says only 5,000 humans are left... you felt the gut punch from her and Archer's reaction.

Great story with a nice twist of MEMENTO. I also liked the added subtle irony that if they were never found by the Xindi, they would be dead in 200 years anyway because of Ceti Alpha VI.

Saving "DAMAGE", IMO, the best episode of the season (if not the series) because it contains everything, the pathos, the moral dilemma, great writing, great acting... what more would anyone ask for? It's a ten.

I will save E², a surprisingly good "time travel" episode. Enjoyed watching how everyone paired off, or (sorry Malcolm) didn't.

"Proving Ground" was pretty great. An exciting turning point episode. The Andorian antennae were never more wittily used.

"THE FORGOTTEN" is not as good as "Damage" but it's still pretty good. We get to see some drama and some acting.

[Hopeful Romantic]

I'll save "North Star" because I doubt anyone else will. I really loved seeing our ENT Big Three in western duds, the episode was filmed on the classic "Six Points Texas" Western sets at Universal Studios, and I thought the production values, direction, and the bleached-out look of the show were outstanding. Plot wise, I only wish it had been followed up after the war, with Enterprise or another ship returning to North Star to repatriate the human descendants in Season 5... oh wait...

Impulse is a fun episode. Zombie Vulcans? It ties into the the theme if the Expanse being a dangerous place, whilst nicely tying up the mystery Soval gave at the end of season two.

Getting down to the mediocre-to-bad category...The least worst is DOCTOR'S ORDERS. Phlox talking to himself is a nice break from the bulk of the Xindi arc before it gets serious again.

I'll save "North Star" because I doubt anyone else will.

I was totally going to save North Star. I consider it the best Trek western. Would have been better in season 2, and not in the middle of the Xindi Arc, but really a decent episode.
