Civilization gets a pass from me, because I enjoyed the "let's mess with Archer" beginning, the overarching story, and the battle at the end.

This makes me realise that it's been a VERY long time since I saw Enterprise and I have a poor memory of many episodes as a result. Some of these sound quite dull from the synopses online but I don't actually remember them at all!

I'll save "Cold Front", because I liked Daniels and his wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey-ness, even if the temporal cold war turned out to be a busted flush in the end.

"OASIS", because of Auberjonois who steals the scenes he's in.

Splendid though Auberjonois was I always found it such a strange thing for him to have cameoed in this way in Enterprise. Would we expect Leonard Nimoy to turn up sans ears and eyebrows in TNG as someone entirely new? Or for Patrick Stewart to have donned a rubber forehead and been a one-shot alien character in DS9? I know Brent Spiner did this too but there was at least a family connection for his Enterprise character, and Trek has long established that everyone's ancestors look exactly like them except for their parents and possibly grandparents.

I am saving "ACQUISITION", because of Combs' Rom-like Ferengi, very convincing, the best Ferengi of the episode by far, and the story was a little funny. Not award deserving mind you, but definitely entertaining.

Saving "ROGUE PLANET" because the concept of a rogue planet has only been done twice before, and neither time focused at all on the wondrous nature of such a thing.

Unexpected was questionable in many ways, but it attempted to show a race that was extremely alien, and the crazy things that could happen through unintentional interactions. Besides, Trip gets knocked up.

Of the ones remaining "DETAINED" is definitely the least offensive. There's an (honest?) attempt at a certain depth, concerning certain political actions (Manzanar).

Saving Terra Nova. As much as I LOVE Clancy Brown as an actor, Desert Crossing literally goes nowhere. Archer and Trip walk in the desert for no reason after meeting with Osama Bin Laden. Terra Nova maybe shale, but it has some heartfelt moments through the layers of what the kids from Miri would have been like all growd up!
