Looking for par'Mach in All the Wrong Places is a superbly effective humor episode.

And Business as Usual is a superbly effective (and rare) "serious" Quark episode. Nice to see him in a true dramatic bind for a change, rather than just Ferengi Farce (like a particular episode remaining on the list)

Blaze of Glory - an effective ending for the Eddington story.

I think I can guess which two would be the last...

A Simple Investigation
Ferengi Love Songs
Soldiers of the Empire

I'll go against the grain and save, out of a truly horrible bunch, Let He Who Is Without Sin. Why, you ask? Because at the very least, it's halfway entertaining. Which I cannot say for the rather dull Investigation or the hermetic Soldiers, an episode you cannot possibly enjoy unless you are a Klingon-fanatic (which I'm not). Love Songs is fun in some small moments, but grating overall.

Another shocking twist...

A Simple Investigation
Ferengi Love Songs

I'm not a Klingon-fanatic (I generally skip all the Worf episodes on TNG), but I enjoy Soldiers of the Empire a fair bit. Possibly because I consider Martok such an engaging character - he's definitely my favourite Klingon in the franchise.

Plus the other two episodes left suck hard.

Well, I didn't see that one coming. :rommie: But I have no problems with it, since I dislike Ferengi comedy with the Nagus a lot more than LHWIWS, which has a few nice Worf/Jadzia after all.

Ferengi Love Songs

A Simple Investigation is not that bad, Rene makes every Odo-centric episode bearable.

Should have been more dramatic Quark episodes, guy is a good actor and always relegating the Ferengi to comedy relief sucked.

Hmm. Ferengi Love Songs does suck hard, but I loathe Let He Who Is Without Sin! I'm also not so keen on Empok Nor, I thought it was a bit odd.

The one I was shocked about was A Simple Investigation, which I thought was a very solid Odo episode. I mean yeah, the cliche happened where the character falls in love quickly, and then the other half is out of his life by the end of the episode, but it was a lot more pleasant than, say, Meridian was. Or maybe I'm strange?

No, not strange. I'm also amazed A Simple Investigation took the number two spot.

I mean, yeah, it's standard Romance-of-the-Week Trek, but it's a great Odo character piece.

"Ferengi Love Songs" was a lot better than "Let He Who Is Without Sin..." as far as I'm concerned. But the twists make this game, I suppose!
