What a terrible group of episodes. I can easily see so many of these take the prize this year.

My first vote goes to "Far From Home". Definitely the least bad of these eight episodes, we get to see the new century from the eyes of the crew.

I think all the season 3 & 4 entries here are good. But the season 1 & 2 episodes, ugh, what a bunch of dogs.

I'll go "Far From Home" as well. I nearly saved it. Disco always does well when it allows some space for the ensemble to do anything.

Both season 4 entries here and clearly superior to all these others (and then "Su'Kal" is clearly superior to all the season 1/2 entries). I will also do "The Galactic Barrier." The A story is excellent, it's specifically the Book/Tarka thread in this that fails.

And continuing with season 4. "All In" It's a pretty strong episode overall. Great production work on the Karma Barge. Good use of Owo, and I always like when a side character gets a chance to do anything of significance on Discovery (well, anything aside from their main thing, which is making long emotional speeches about their backstories during time-sensitive crisis's).

I can go "Wolf Inside" too. I've saved that in some other games in the past. I basically like the MU arc, and this is the highlight of it.

However, because it's season 1 Disco, all four of those MU eps also have severe problems in the writing.

I'll save The Wolf Inside then. The MU arc in S1 was entertaining, despite the dodgy ending for Lorca. If I'm ever rewatching DIS again, I enjoy the MU part much more than the Klingon War.

I'll do a 2-for-1 vote, and vote for Perpetual Infintie next. Whilst the Red Angel arc became trash, I do love Sonia Sohn as Burnham's mother, so the absurdity of it all makes it slightly easier to swallow. Slightly.
