TOS “Elaan of Troyius” has its flaws, but I love the espionage theme and the battle of wits with the Klingon Battlecruiser.

Also, this guy is the least-appreciated Klingon in Star Trek history:

And, I always loved the sound and visual effects of the Klingons firing their green disruptors.

Come Okona, follow me. I got you.

Threat carried out. I know it's not good, but as a kid I liked The Outrageous Okona. I still wish I had gorgeous hair like he.

I will outrageously... damn, someone saved it now.:hugegrin:

Saving "ALICE".

Nice nod to CHRISTINE. This had some good creep elements.

ST, Season 2: "Ephraim And Dot"
PIC, Season 2: "Watcher"

Shakaar eventually turned out to be a bit of a nothing character in DS9's run, but I always mostly liked Bajoran politics episodes, especially when Cow Winn was involved. Louise Fletcher always played that air of condescension to perfection.

TOS, Season 1: "Miri"
TOS, Season 1: "The Squire Of Gothos"
TOS, Season 2: "I, Mudd"
TAS, Season 1: "Mudd's Passion"
TNG, Season 3: "Ménage à Troi"
TNG, Season 6: "True Q"
TNG, Season 6: "Aquiel"
DS9, Season 2: "Melora"
ENT, Season 3: "Rajiin"
DIS, Season 3: "Su'Kal"
ST, Season 2: "The Trouble With Edward"
ST, Season 2: "Ephraim And Dot"
PIC, Season 2: "Watcher"

The Squire of Gothos. The TOS crew’s unofficial Q episode. An easy pick and a lot of fun to be had with this one.

TOS, Season 1: "Miri"
TOS, Season 2: "I, Mudd"
TAS, Season 1: "Mudd's Passion"
TNG, Season 3: "Ménage à Troi"
TNG, Season 6: "True Q"
TNG, Season 6: "Aquiel"
DS9, Season 2: "Melora"
ENT, Season 3: "Rajiin"
DIS, Season 3: "Su'Kal"
ST, Season 2: "The Trouble With Edward"
ST, Season 2: "Ephraim And Dot"
PIC, Season 2: "Watcher"

If I get another choice, it will be an animated one.

TOS' 'Miri'. Haven't seen it in 30 years, but I remember enjoying it greatly.

TOS, Season 2: "I, Mudd"
TAS, Season 1: "Mudd's Passion"
TNG, Season 3: "Ménage à Troi"
TNG, Season 6: "True Q"
TNG, Season 6: "Aquiel"
DS9, Season 2: "Melora"
ENT, Season 3: "Rajiin"
DIS, Season 3: "Su'Kal"
ST, Season 2: "The Trouble With Edward"
ST, Season 2: "Ephraim And Dot"
PIC, Season 2: "Watcher"

Most of "Menage a Troi" was meh, but I will save it for Wesley's promotion alone. Loved that scene.

TOS, Season 2: "I, Mudd"
TAS, Season 1: "Mudd's Passion"
TNG, Season 6: "True Q"
TNG, Season 6: "Aquiel"
DS9, Season 2: "Melora"
ENT, Season 3: "Rajiin"
DIS, Season 3: "Su'Kal"
ST, Season 2: "The Trouble With Edward"
ST, Season 2: "Ephraim And Dot"
PIC, Season 2: "Watcher"

True Q is pretty good. I really liked Amanda Rodgers' outsider look at the Q Continuum, especially when Q is showing what she is capable of. The history of her parents is somewhat tragic, too.

TOS, Season 2: "I, Mudd"
TAS, Season 1: "Mudd's Passion"
TNG, Season 6: "Aquiel"
DS9, Season 2: "Melora"
ENT, Season 3: "Rajiin"
DIS, Season 3: "Su'Kal"
ST, Season 2: "The Trouble With Edward"
ST, Season 2: "Ephraim And Dot"
PIC, Season 2: "Watcher"

"Melora" for the attempt at disability representation, even if the titular character herself was kind of a dud.

TOS, Season 2: "I, Mudd"
TAS, Season 1: "Mudd's Passion"
TNG, Season 6: "Aquiel"
ENT, Season 3: "Rajiin"
DIS, Season 3: "Su'Kal"
ST, Season 2: "The Trouble With Edward"
ST, Season 2: "Ephraim And Dot"
PIC, Season 2: "Watcher"

I shall remove Mudd's Passion from the list; I thought it was funny.

TOS, Season 2: "I, Mudd"
TNG, Season 6: "Aquiel"
ENT, Season 3: "Rajiin"
DIS, Season 3: "Su'Kal"
ST, Season 2: "The Trouble With Edward"
ST, Season 2: "Ephraim And Dot"
PIC, Season 2: "Watcher"

@Qonundrum

I love how you always bring some YT clips into the games.

Thanks. :) It's fun in of itself to find clips that reflect the story well...

"Q-Less" Sisko punching Q? *chef's kiss*

As a result, Q would be a lot more subtle. One example: Q swapped Odo with himself incognito for the umpire scenes in the baseball game episode that was chock full of the emotionally arrogant Vulcans and Odo never realized it, or was believed if he thought something felt off so he went back to sleep in the bucket again...

Or even more sly, oh my:

So 2 seconds later, Q snapped his fingers, wiggled his nose, crossed his arms, down-thrusted his chin, and *ding* the Dominion was born... they could have revealed that instead of the baseball game episode that was chock full of the emotionally arrogant Vulcans, which would also clean up a number of TNG stories that otherwise reek of "Q" except he's not there by any expository means, especially when Troi's around...

The Squire of Gothos. The TOS crew’s unofficial Q episode. An easy pick and a lot of fun to be had with this one.

:luvlove:

The whole episode is awesome for even just the smallest thing:

Historical fun fact: Mike Nesmith wears the same coat in the Monkees episode "The Prince and the Pauper". Was Nesmith secretly Trelane?:devil:

Saving "I, MUDD". It had a lot of humor.

And a lot of Norman too!

Saved:
TNG, Season 6: "Aquiel"

It's bland, but that's the worst it's got to offer.

(Episode recap; it's also one of their more bland entries but that can't be helped...)

What's left:
ENT, Season 3: "Rajiin"
DIS, Season 3: "Su'Kal"
PIC, Season 2: Watcher

Saving "Watcher." I love all the time they spent in 2024 Los Angeles, flawed plotting and all.

ENT, Season 3: "Rajiin"
DIS, Season 3: "Su'Kal"

Su'Kal had some interesting explorations of the character in question, even if it was wrongly placed in the season. The Burn may even have better been served as a myth that was passed on through generations and having the crew/Starfleet come up with new means of travel. At least with Burnham and Saru, they were investigating a problem, so on that level, it appeals to me more than Raijin.

Raijin is not good at all. It's not very memorable, which is a sin in a season-long story. ENT's obsession with facilitating horny teens was always a bit too obvious.
