"Imperfection" was really ruined for me by "Stardust City Rag." It bums me out. I used to love it!

Though we met her in the prior episode, this is the first we get to see of the personality of Annie Wersching's Borg Queen, and it is a captivating one! The whole season was packed with incredible acting for Alison Pill, but this was one of her showcase episodes. The BQ's half-body was never more effectively done, from a production standpoint.

AND in non-Borg areas, I loved their depiction of modern LA as just utter hell on earth (I live there right now and feel similarly), and it had the most impact in the first episode to arrive there.

I genuinely like "Human Error". It has some good character development for Seven exploring being human: wanting to have quarters and wear a uniform, wanting to take part in social activities like the baby shower, wanting to be friends with B'Elanna and go on dates. I think it would be better if it was in season 6 because then there could have been some follow up and we could have seen Seven grow more as a person. It's a shame that in the end her cortical node stops her - I don't think was mentioned before or after. There are big differences between real Chakotay and hologram Chakotay - you can easily tell which is which. It's a shame that any of the episode happens in the holodeck - it would be more interesting to see everyone react positively to Seven wanting to make changes in her life because I think they would but she's just too afraid to tell them.

I really like Child's Play, as it turned out that poor Icheb had been sent willingly by his parents as a biological weapon to the Borg. For shame!

The examination of Seven and Icheb's relationship is nicely done as well.

Saving “Unimatrix Zero, Part I”. There are some really good ideas here. I think it's just the voluntarily being assimilated bit that's a problem. The idea that some Borg can be themselves while regenerating and their existence is a bit problem for the Borg Queen is really interesting, and is something that the writers could have done a lot with in season 7. It also makes the Borg weaker and easier to defeat in a way that makes sense in-universe.

VOY Season 7: “Endgame” yeah, the C7 stuff is pretty bad, but otherwise? I love many, many things about this one. I love Admiral Janeway and her interaction with her younger self; I love that any version of Janeway will do anything and everything for her crew and screw the rules; I love the emotion of final scene and the fact that Janeway ended the very last episode the same way she did the first - "Set a course... four home" - and I love both the ingenuity in how and the sheer balls it took to take out the Queen the way they did.
