Game The Most Disliked 7th Season Episode

THE OBJECTIVE: A sudden-death elimination game in which we remove our personal favorite episodes from a themed list, until we arrive at the episode that is, if not the worst, at least the most disliked.

THE RULES: Below is a list of the 7th season episodes of TNG, DS9, and VOY. (These seasons are always getting beat up on, so I wanted to put them into a game together and see what happens)

Eliminate/save your favorite, or the one you deem the ‘best.’
Post something you love about the episode you are saving, and copy-and-paste the list with your choice removed.

You can use any standard you like to judge which option is "best." You can save episodes for being widely recognized “best Trek” classics, or for idiosyncratic qualities that no one appreciates but you.

But -- no tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode because you don’t think anyone else will, or because you feel it would threaten your preferred episode's chance to “win.”

You can take multiple turns. Leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

New players are always welcome, you do not have to already be a "most disliked game" regular to dive in.

It's not just you - I like it. The story is ridiculous, but the acting is brilliant, so it just kind of works and it's a great comedy episode.

Saving "Shattered" - it's in my top 5 Voyager episodes. It's a wonderful "for the fans" episode. I loved seeing Seska again, seeing Janeway be confused by the Captain Proton holodeck program, seeing Janeway and Chakotay working together in a way that I think was missing from a lot of season 7 episodes.

Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges being in existence means that at least there was one excellent episode based on Section 31 in DS9's final season.

It's a great twist to have Admiral Ross involved in the proceedings that happen to see the downfall of Cretak, so that the S31 mole in the Romulan government can rise to power. It's just a great episode for Bashir, and I also liked that they reused the VOY set. It saved money, but it somehow looked very official.

Saving DS9 "Siege of AR-558." Just like "Balance of Terror" was inspired by old time submarine movies, this one was clearly inspired by Vietnam-ear stories of firebases dug in under heavy attack. It was DS9's (and perhaps Star Trek's) best depiction and commentary on the true horrors of war, and it was a great, tense episode.

Chimera id s lovely episode that examines what it means when a changeling and a Bajoran love each other.

I was always a fan of Kira and Odo's relationship, so this episode really grabs me. Odo meeting Kira halfway with the mist at the end 0gets me every time. I also enjoyed Laas, another member of the 100 changelings that were sent out to the galaxy.
