The Most Annoying Scene EVER Award Goes To...

CmndrSela318

Trek BBS Commander Number 318.
Red Shirt
For me, it goes to Rom hollering WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIT in the DS9 season 5 episode Doctor Bashir, I Presume.
That scene just gets on my last good nerve.
Okay, now I wanna hear from you what scene from which Trek series gets on your last good nerve.

Whenever Picard gets all high and mighty about how nobody is greedy or needs money anymore.

Tasha's drug speech (runner-up).

Pretty much TNG Troi speaking.

Pretty much most of TNG...

Sisko speaking in his loud staccato I'm saying something important voice.

Heaven ;)

See TNG above...

Blinking across the bottom of the screen.

**WARNING ** Preachiness **WARNING**

TOS is very guilty of this. Real mood-killer.

Oh, and Riley singing 'I'll Take You Home Again, Kathleen' or whatever the frak it was. Frakkin' hate it. Fingernails on chalkboard time.

Any scene where Nana Visitor shows emotion. She's Star Trek's answer to Fran Drescher.

Any one liner uttered by any character ever;

"assimilate this"
"time's up"
"resistance is fewtull"
"time to take out the garbage"

Any Data's "to hell with our orders" and any similar scene.

Actually, the entire script for First Contact.

In Generations: Data having his "breakdown" on the space station.

In TOS: "Captain, I'm frightened." (Real professional)

In TFF: "I always wanted to play to a captive audience." AND "I know this ship like the back of my hand." KLUNK!

I meant just the tv shows...but okay, let's include all 11 movies: Star Trek The Motion Picture through JJ Abrams 2009 Star Trek movie.
