"The Measure of a Man" Line-by-Line

And here we go again...

We've recently concluded our "The Man Trap" Line-by-Line thread over in the TOS forum!

After each completed thread, I'm randomly picking someone who participated to choose the next episode we do. The lucky winner this time around was Kolrad! And he has chosen "The Measure of a Man" as our next line-by-line adventure. And thus we arrive in the TNG forum!

As a reminder, you are asked to post only a single line (defined as one character speaking without interruption by another character) per message. You can post as often as you like, but someone else must post a line in between your posts.

Enjoy!

PICARD: Captain's log, stardate 42523.7. We are en route to newly established Starbase 173 for port call. Crew rotation is scheduled, and we will be off-loading experiment modules.

O'Brien: Hold it, that's my chair. My luck is always lousy unless I start on the dealer's right.

Data: This game is exceedingly simple. With only fifty two cards, twenty one of which I will see, and four other players, there are a limited number of winning combinations.
