Lost follows on from other notable series to do it's own version of da Vinci's "The Last Supper".

Good, but there have been better promos from Lost, and BSG's is still my favourite version.

I love how Jeff Fahey (Lapidus) is in these pictures. He's a great character and actor and I'm glad he is getting a bigger role this season.

But it is weird that Desmond isn't in them.

Also, it's pretty poor compared to the BSG version. They're all just staring blankly.

In the Last Supper, everyone is standing around looking as if they're judging each other. The Lost Supper, they're looking as if they're judging us.

Trying to find symbolism based on the original DaVinci painting. The original article says Sayid is Judas, although I think Sayid is Peter and Kate is Judas. I don't know enough about the original painting, though, can someone figure that out?

Of course, it might not mean anything. Especially if Locke isn't Jesus anymore.

Sayid is on the wrong side of the painting to be Judas.
Plus, in the original painting, Judas is the only one turned away from Jesus. ...as in turning his back on him.

I thought in the original Leonardo painting (not DaVinci. That denotes where he was born. It would be like calling me Chris Of Chicago), Judas is shown pulling back while the other 11 Apostles were questioning if they were the one who was to betray Christ. He is also pictured holding a small pouch which apparently had the 30 pieces of silver. I'm surprised there hasn't been a longer thread about this picture. When the Revenge Of The Sith teaser poster came out, there were people seeing everying from Boba Fatt to the Virgin Mary tangoing with Elvis in Anakin's flowing robes.

That would be true if you didn't have a last name. Leonardo was known as "Leonardo da Vinci" his father was Piero da Vinci.
