I've gotten most of the Glider armor set which makes skydiving a lot easier.

I may have been a tad too critical of the weapons deg mechanics, as i recently dug out the Wii U and this time started actually playing it on said console, rather than going the Cemu route i went last time on the PC, and to be honest.....so far......it does not seem as bad as i remembered it, so far......as i have not really come up against a damage sponge yet, so we shall see. Lol

Plus on a side not it looks stunning on the U, this, Matio 3D. Tropical country, MK8, MBros U, all sitting in a cupboard for what, 5/6 years and never played......games hording can be a bad addiction. Lol

I don't know if it's just me misremembering, but it seems like the "decayed" weapons in TOTK don't last as long as the "normal" weapons in BOTW. Of course, that would make sense story-wise. It's really annoying to have them keep breaking so often, though.

There are regular weapons in the depths, you'll see shadowy figures holding them on towers. They last a good bit longer.

I obsessively fuse monster parts to everything.

I've just gotten into exploring in the Upside Down, I mean the depths. Not my favorite part of the game, geographically speaking, but there are some good items there. I just found the Sword of the Hero in a chest, but I'm loath to use it since I don't know if it can be replaced once it breaks.

Legendary items can break, it just takes longer.

Also I found out that you can get Majora's Mask in the game. You have to fight five Lynels in a row in the depths. You can also fuse an Ancient Blade to an arrow and instantly teleport them too.

I just tried to fight a lynel in the depths and found myself a bit unprepared, so I teleported out of there. I can't do flurry rush for the life of me, and my approach in BOTW was to bombard them with bomb arrows from the air, then go in with Urbosa's Fury when they were disoriented, then use Revali's Gale and repeat. I haven't found any ancient blades yet; I'll try to stock up on those.

There's two vocal camps of fanbois now eitjer waiiing that Breath Of The Wild has been rendered into a glorified tech demo or that Tears Of The Kingdom is a glorified DLC.

'Kay, finally got round to kicking Ganondorf's shit in after almost 150 damn hours (completing most relevant side quests like shutting down the Yiga clan operations in the Depths and liberating/repairing that beachside village).
