"Redemption" was the most unsatisfying TNG cliffhanger resolution. It dropped the ball in so many ways. This is where they really fumbled Sela, which particularly annoys me -- such a long walk to get to that idea, and then to just fuck it up...

"The Best Of Both Worlds, Part II" has got to go. No where near as engaging as the first part. Not even a very good episode in its own right.

It was always intended as the season 3 premiere even if it was produced as part pf season 2, this episode os where the stardates switch from 49... to 50..., it wasn't a very food premiere though and how they dealt with Seska and made the baby not Chakotay's to dump that storyline was not a good choice imo.


Removing The Search Part 1, after 2 seasons of mystery Odo finding his people just like that was too easy and Jadzia has an awful hairstyle.

Amok Time is out, I dislike how everyone seems to be ok with a duel to the death.

A Time To Stand wins, I love how it resolves the cliffhanger by showing the fleet heavily damaged, it was pretty unexpected to start like that.

 

Whose okay with duels to the death?

And “Amok Time” is a much better episode.

 

Every vulcan and Kirk when he doesn't back out the moment he learns that's what it is.

In your opinion, I think it's pretty good but A time to stand is better.
