The Least Disliked Regular Star Trek Character

No offense but I wouldn't do any of these. The "comedy episodes" are a matter of opinion, the theme songs??? What??? There's like five of them!! The Ships, they kinda look alike. The Ferengi episodes are fewer than ten.
There are at least 7 themes. Enterprise has two. It could be a short game in between games.

10 Ferengi episodes? There must be at least 10 in TNG alone, add 2 from Voyager, 1 from Ent, and about 3-4 per season from DS9. All that equals sh** ton.

And there must be plethora of one-off romances. I just thought of A few more. Odo and the spy, Chakotay and the spy, Wesley and the Ashley Judd, Dr. Crusher and the terrorist, Janeway and the hedonist. The game could last a week

For some of these previous lists, that was one of the parameters ("Just B stories don't count"), but I don't recall which one(s)...

When you say B stories, I would like to play Best /At least disliked B story (although not every episode has one, but most of them.)

The problem with comedy episodes is Enterprise and Discovery didn't have any.

I think Enterprise took a few stabs at it, just without success ("Unexpected" comes to mind, the trip to Risa, "Night In Sickbay" as noted)

There's about 70 items on the list at present... and I think I'm going to make the rules "wait 2 eliminations and 4 hours before eliminating again", just to slow it down a bit... I like these games fast, but they're getting too fast even for me!

There is a comedy episode of enterprise that's good. It's the one where everyone gets super preoccupied with their own interests and start going nuts. Archer is trying to write an intro to a biography, Trip is trying to make the captain's chair more comfy, Hoshi is trying to perfect some soup recipe , and "red alert"(reed alert) is invented. I forget the title, but it's pretty hilarious.

Interestingly, Picard also won the first time I did this least disliked character edition back in 2011. :bolian:

4 hours in my case, you may as well say a day. I don't post for more than 4 hours in a row.

In A Mirror Darkly was a comedy episode.

DS9 is the only 'modern' Trek series that really knew how to do comedy. TNG had Q and Data and made some decent comedy with them, but when they weren't leaning on some inherently funny character their attempts at humor were a little embarrassing.

Yeah, it's interesting how DS9 had a reputation as the "darkest" Trek (up until Discovery) but they mixed in lighthearted comedy episodes in virtually every season - even during the depths of the Dominion War.

I get the impression with a lot of TNG and Voyager, writing for parts of the show that weren’t the main conflict were targeted at the older part of the demographic who were fans of crime procedurals and sitcoms.

DS9 somewhere in the middle, and Enterprise when Coto took over finally realized “Wait, Wait. We already lost everyone but youngish nerds! We should target them instead.”

Discovery and that oft discussed Trek tribute show both started with the benefit of having a clear understanding of who exactly they are writing for.
