The least disliked episode of VOY - Season Three

Removing Displaced.

The whole thing seems like they went to more trouble than needed to steal ships. And Voyager should have had better ways to respond.

Future's End, Part I
Future's End, Part II
Fair Trade
Unity
Before and After
Worst Case Scenario

Fair Trade, for the fairly boring reason that I don't like Neelix outside of a couple select episodes, and most of my favourites from this season have already been taken out (except Unity and Before and After) so it's pretty much a toss-up.

Future's End, Part I
Future's End, Part II

Worst Case Scenario

"BEFORE AND AFTER" gets taken out. A great concept, and a good episode, but not as good as what's left on the list.

Future's End, Part I
Future's End, Part II
Unity
Worst Case Scenario

I do not want to see any version of a Chakotay ROTW. Cutting "Unity."

Future's End, Part I
Future's End, Part II
Worst Case Scenario

Worst Case Scenario was a fine episode, but I'm going to have to cut it I'm afraid, as Future's End was a real turning point for the series in my opinion.

Future's End, Part I
Future's End, Part II

Farewell to "Future's End II", then, because the scenes with Chakotay, B'Elanna, and the survivalists were pretty stupid.

Winner: "Future's End, Part I"

That's the same final two for season 3 as the last time we did this! I thought for sure someone would ding at least one half this go-round.

I'm a fan, though! It practically survives on location work alone for me. They did such a great job securing awesome 1996 locations to roam through.

To be fair, I think this is a season with a lot of middle-of-the-road episodes, with the character developments regarding the Doctor helping Future's End stand above the rest of the pack in people's memories. I still think Scorpion Pt 1 is the actual best (and most memorable) episode of the season, but I've noticed fan opinion on that two-parter seems to have soured a bit over the last few years.

I love Scorpion as well, it's an easy VOY Top 10 for me. Future's End is pretty entertaining but all of my favourites of the season were long gone.

Hands down "Before & After" is my favorite of the season, and definitely Voyager top 10 as well. My other favs this year would be "Warlord", "Future's End", and "Scorpion." I'm always surprised "Warlord" is not more widely liked. For me it's one of THE Trek possession episodes. It so cleverly manages to keep Kes herself active in the story.

I must say I am a little disappointed. Future's end is marred by the guest actress, whatshername, although partly saved by the excellent Edward James Begley Jr.

About "Warlord", I had a hard time telling the difference between angry Kes and warlord kes which we were supposed to be able to.
