The least disliked episode of VOY - Season Six

This is a game that was played here a couple of years ago, and it proved to be a lot of fun, spanning across each Trek series, as well as a great way to mentally revisit those episodes you may not have thought about in a while. With that in mind, why not play again?

So, here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your least favorite or the one you deem the 'worst.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode because you feel they would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win.
Pretty simple. Enjoy! :bolian:

I'll get rid of "The Haunting of Deck Twelve". I don't tend to rewatch it and didn't really like it too much the first few times I saw it. It's not a terrible episode, but a pretty mediocre one IMO.

Spirit Folk - another lame episode with the stereotypical Irish, and yet another episode where all the drama is manufactured in the Holodeck. The crew doesn't want to shut down the program, which would cause it to delete, EVEN THOUGH lives are at stake, REAL lives. Oh, and the Doctor falls for hypnosis? Puh-leeeeease.

So basically if any program is left on for an extended period of time, the characters will go haywire and will suspect the crew as being witches or something. That's some really horrible programming there, Paris. Imagine leaving your PC on day and night, and as a result, it gains sentience and revolts against you. But instead of wanting to fix it, they just accept that "limitation" and move on, as if the Fair Haven characters are all real people they don't want to hurt or offend.

DS9 writers used the "holodeck messes up" trope very sparingly, leading to some good episodes. Voyager was brazen about it though.

ok sorry for going off topic, but how were they brazen about it? there aren't that many episodes that focus on a holodeck malfunction. And also since voyager was only set on Voyager, they couldn't go back and forth to earth, cardassia, bajor, the gamma quadrant, all they had was Voyager so obviously they would use the holodeck

Taking out The Voyager Conspiracy. While the clip show aspect of it was interesting I never liked Seven's odd conclusions

"Unitmatrix Zero, Part I", I was getting a little tired of the Borg being wheeled out.

"Fury": Kes's vendetta just doesn't make sense.

Pathfinder
Blink of an Eye

Alice - lame Christine rip-off. They obviously didn't do what do with Paris. I also think I have a vague recollection of finding B'Elanna's and Tom's emotional reactions in this episode completely unrealistic, but I can't remember the details, since I've mostly forgotten this episode.

Dragon's Teeth

It's time "Barge of the Dead" to float downstream and out of this competition

Dragon's Teeth
One Small Step
Pathfinder

Pathfinder. I never liked Voyager re-establishing contact with the Alpha Quadrant in the first place, and this episode led to lots of reappearances by Barclay and Troi. It defeats the premise of Voyager being isolated in the Delta Quadrant.

Equinox (II)
Survival Instinct
Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy
Riddles
Dragon's Teeth
One Small Step
Blink of an Eye
Collective
Ashes to Ashes
Child's Play
Muse

"Equinox, Part II", It's not a bad episode but most of the other episodes are better or have those liitle character moments.

Survival Instinct
Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy
Riddles
Dragon's Teeth
One Small Step
Blink of an Eye
Collective
Ashes to Ashes
Child's Play
Muse
Life Line

I eliminated "Muse" not because I deem it a bad episode, but just because I love all of the other ones too much. Of them all, I tend to not re-watch "Muse" much.

Survival Instinct
Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy
Riddles
Dragon's Teeth
One Small Step
Blink of an Eye
Collective
Ashes to Ashes
Child's Play
Life Line

I'll delete Riddles. It's a pretty good episode, but has a bad case of the reset button at the end.

Survival Instinct
Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy
Dragon's Teeth
One Small Step
Blink of an Eye
Collective
Ashes to Ashes
Child's Play
Life Line

Child's Play... never much cared for the Borg kids.

Survival Instinct
Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy
Dragon's Teeth

Ashes to Ashes
Life Line
