P.S. Is the outstanding trademark of Season Three that all the principle characters fall in love with somebody and partially several times?!?

I forget where but I read (or saw a video comment) where Fred Frieberger said that they added in more romance for female fans.

Unfortunately which if often the case when someone in another demographic thinks they know what the other demographic wants they are often wrong.

I am a female fan and while I like a well written romance, the one episode romances of most Star Trek episodes I am definitely not a fan of (with a few exceptions).

So yeah McCoy's romance in The World is Hollow, Spock/Zarabeth in All Our Yesterdays, and the countless Kirk romances I just don't care at all about.

Thanks! I was undecided between "Requiem" and "Spectre" (another "abuse" to reuse costumes as a budget saving measure...).
And as a fan of the Matrix Trilogy I felt it to be inappropriate to kick out a Star Trek episode that qualifies as a predecessor.

ST looney bin was well addressed in "Dagger of the Mind," so this episode fell flat. Yes, the inmates are supposed to be insane, but they all projected like theatre, rather than TV drama performances.

That, and Yvonne Craig must..I mean MUST win the award for the most scenery-chewing performance in ST history (meaning all series). It is no wonder her less than top level gifts played a big role in sinking Batman.

I´ll drop "That Which Survives" ... they went to a lot of trouble to keep unwanted visitors away considering all the power they had available. Anyway, you can only truly appreciate this episode in the orignal (hilarious) German version
