The Least Disliked Episode 2025 - VOY Season 3

Despite Robert Picardo's (as always) brilliant acting, "Real Life" was nothing more or less than melodrama. Doc's "family" didn't exist before or after this episode, and neither were there any lasting effects, on him or on anyone else. And the idea of Torres and Paris giving advice on what "real" families are like, when we know both of them come from dysfunctional households, seems off. "Real Life" is just what this one isn't.

Future's End (I)
Alter Ego
Unity
Before and After
Distant Origin
Worst Case Scenario
Scorpion (I)

And honestly, one of the most blatant nepotism casting in the franchise. (Alexander Enberg is Jeri Taylor's son. Not a coincidence he appeared this season as much as seasons 5, 6, and 7 combined.)

And he played such an off-putting character, too. If memory serves, the fan nickname for him was "Vomit."

Appreciate you all for letting me kill off "FUTURE'S END", since I already did part two.

Same reasons as part 2, only difference is the content of the tacked on scenes.

(Neelix and Kes getting immersed in soap operas, for example. While it was funny, it's clearly padding because the story was about 1.25 - 1.5 eposodes, so instead of cutting it to make one episode, extra stuff was padded to make 2 episodes. This isn't always a bad thing, by the way...this can lead to great character scenes. But this two-parter didn't utilize this trick well enough, which is to its detriment.)

Unity
Before and After
Worst Case Scenario
Scorpion (I)

I enjoy all of the remaining episodes but I'm giving "Unity" the axe. I really liked Ensign Kaplan, so much potential. :(
There's also the continuity goof when they tried to tie Riley into being at the first battle of Sector 001 and Wolf 359.

Before and After
Worst Case Scenario
Scorpion (I)

It's fantastic, but I'll axe "Scorpion." There is a lot of plotting around this Janeway/Borg alliance that doesn't hold up. The Borg have multiple opportunities to take what they need by force. Also, the actual cliffhanger moment is a little disappointing.

Before and After
Worst Case Scenario

"BEFORE AND AFTER" is now gone.

While this was creative and showed a captain actually having MORE than one Doctor, "WORST CASE SCENARIO" is such a fun episode and great to see Seska another time.

"WORST CASE SCENARIO" wins!!
