The Least Disliked Episode 2025 - LD Season 4

So, here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your least favourite or the one you deem the 'worst.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode just because you feel it would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win.
Pretty simple. Enjoy! :bolian:

Season 4

Twovix
I Have No Bones Yet I Must Flee
In the Cradle of Vexilon
Something Borrowed, Something Green
Empathological Fallacies
Parth Ferengi’s Heart Place
A Few Badgeys More
Caves
The Inner Fight
Old Friends, New Planets

As fun as it was and especially learning that Force of Nature was a bullshit conspiracy theory everyone fell for and thus warp speed increases afterwards actually has a uniquely Lower Decks explanation I think Caves is probably the one I'm going to nominate as the weakest entry in yet another super strong season and thus it gets my first vote.

Something Borrowed, Something Green
Empathological Fallacies
Parth Ferengi’s Heart Place

The Inner Fight

"The Inner Fight" has a few moments that are just a little forced.

This was their best season... which seems to be every series that makes it to 4 seasons. (Except DISCO... great ending, but the middle was such a slog. I had high hopes that season would follow the pattern of all the other shows... boy, was I wrong.) Just excellent from top to bottom.

Taking out "Empathological Fallacies". Only slightly less great than the rest. (It's REALLY hard to find fault with any if these.)

A season so beloved no one wants to do any eliminations?

It's funny, all these episodes really are exceptional, but do I take the grade of the overall season down for the handling of the arc. The misdirect is such a dramatically unpleasant experience. It was awful to watch crew after crew be introduced and then "die" all season, even though I always suspected the ultimate reveal.

But watching it play out week-to-week... it had a grimness that is so at odds with what I want from this show.

It reminds me a lot of Voyager's infamously unsuccessful serialization with Jonas and the Kazon and misbehaving Paris. It's just stray scenes crammed into episodes that weaken each episode they surface in.

The ending of "A Few Badgeys More" felt a bit underwhelming.

Taking out "Something Borrowed, Something Green".

I love the look at Orion society. But I like this only a bit less than the remaining ones.

"Twovix". I can't really put into words why I feel it's the weakest left. It has some great moments, but I definitely like it less than the other remaining episodes.

I Have No Bones Yet I Must Flee
Parth Ferengi’s Heart Place
Old Friends, New Planets

I'm going to make a contraversial decision here and I'm eliminating Old Friends, New Planets. Yes it's fantastic, truly, but I just can't bring myself to erase the other two.

I Have No Bones Yet I Must Flee
Parth Ferengi’s Heart Place

I love both remaining. Moopsi was cute, but seeing Rom and Leeta again just made my DS9 heart soar.

"Parth Ferengi's Heart Place" is the winner for season 4!
