I'll take out "THE ULTIMATE COMPUTER" because do not like computers or the idea of them fully taking everything over. (Unfortunately, they already basically have.)

Don't kill me, but "The Doomsday Machine."

"Amok Time", "Mirror, Mirror", "Journey To Babel", "Obsession", and "The Trouble With Tribbles" are all all-time favorites. I love seeing "Pulaski" in "Return To Tomorrow", and I am forever haunted by the brutal weirdness of being transformed into a dehydrated block and then crushed in "By Any Other Name."

So, "Doomsday" is just odd man out. Great, but my appreciation for it is intellectual. I don't have a strong emotional connection to it like these others.

Return to Tomorrow is pretty average. It’s not bad, but it’s relatively forgettable.

Well, I already named the four below as all-time favorites, so I'll eliminate "By Any Other Name" as the odd man out of what remains. It's good, but really what I like about it is multiple Trek roles for Diana Muldaur.

I'm sorry, "Obsession," but while I like you very much, I love the other three beyond reason. "Mirror, Mirror" and "Journey to Babel" were world-builders, and "The Trouble With Tribbles" was the first great Trek comedy. And I'm very glad I won't be able to cast another vote in this round!

As much as Tribbles makes me laugh, I'll eliminate it. Just slightly prefer the others.

Both remainders are among my favorites, and since I can't save "THE DOOMSDAY MACHINE", I will take out "MIRROR, MIRROR" because we get a really excellent Spock episode in "JOURNEY TO BABEL".

"JOURNEY TO BABEL" wins. (But in my heart, "THE DOOMSDAY MACHINE" wins. Take THAT, Sakonna. )
