The Least Disliked Episode 2023: DS9 Final Rounds

Yeah, I totally agree that I am really struggling with this! I keep pissing around trying to decide which I like the most, yet all of them could win.

It's taking so long because less people vote in this thread compared to TOS and TNG, it's not really saying much about the quality of the episodes. It more likely suggests there's a lack of interest in DS9.

Agreed. And that's the fourth vote for "Warrior."

In the next round, I'll vote for "What You Leave Behind." There was so much episode left, once the story was over...

I'll finish off "What you Leave Behind". I forgot how much it bothered me (and Avery Brooks) that Sisko left his pregnant wife behind, regardless of the why and wherefore.

With it gone, I will once again attempt to plunge "Pale Moonlight" into darkness. It's not bad, but I like the others better.

I’m going to go with Far Beyond the Stars.

It is a great episode. One of the most creative things Star Trek has done. The cast does great. It’s bold.

But, in trying to decide I guess I decided what do I think of as quintessential DS9? And this episode being so unique doesn’t feel like that to me as much as the others which are like regular DS9 but just done perfectly.

When it comes to The Sisko, a supernova is a weakling by comparison.
