The least disliked episode 2021 - TAS Final Rounds

BlueStuff

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
Here we have the winners and runners up of each season:

Season One: Beyond the Farthest Star
Wild Card: One of Our Planets Is Missing
Season Two: The Counter-Clock Incident
Wild Card: How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth

So now it is time for the final part.

*RULES*

Give what you consider to be the worst/your least favourite episode ONE point, and briefly explain WHY. Be sure to copy and paste the list with your point added. When an episode reaches 4 points, it is eliminated. Then a NEW round begins (in this thread) with the numbers restored to 0. Vote ONCE per round. If 48 hours without a vote passes, the episode currently leading in points will be eliminated, and a new round will begin. And enjoy! :bolian:

Beyond the Farthest Star - 0
One of Our Planets Is Missing - 0
The Counter-Clock Incident - 0
How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth - 0

"ONE OF OUR PLANETS IS MISSING" gets my first vote. Simply because the other stories are better.

Beyond the Farthest Star - 0
One of Our Planets Is Missing - 1
The Counter-Clock Incident - 0
How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth - 0

Despite the fact that it is an non-euro myth story, it is yet another alien visits Earth story. So How Sharp gets my vote:

Beyond the Farthest Star - 0
One of Our Planets Is Missing - 1
The Counter-Clock Incident - 0
How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth -1

I know I saved "Counter-Clock" in the Season Two round -- but the problematic logic of the backwards time travel really does disqualify it from overall victory, IMO.

Beyond the Farthest Star - 0
One of Our Planets Is Missing - 1
The Counter-Clock Incident - 1
How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth -1

How sharper than a serpent's tooth aka Ancient Aliens Star Trek Edition. They already did a similar story in Who mourns for Adonais.

Beyond the Farthest Star - 0
One of Our Planets Is Missing - 1
The Counter-Clock Incident - 1
How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth - 2

I give a point to One of Our Planets is Missing as the other 3 are a little bit better in my opinion.

Beyond the Farthest Star - 0
One of Our Planets Is Missing - 2
The Counter-Clock Incident - 1
How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth - 2

"One of Our Planets Is Missing" gets my vote. It's embarrassingly stupid even for a TAS episode. If I had my way it wouldn't have made it to that list in the first place.

Beyond the Farthest Star - 0
One of Our Planets Is Missing - 3
The Counter-Clock Incident - 1
How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth - 2

I'm making One of Our Planets go missing for good. It's just another Ameba story, but with a brain this time as the target to kill the beast. How it should have ended: Pew, pew...it's dead, Jim. How it did end: Talk, talk, talk...I'm dead of boredom.

Beyond the Farthest Star - 0
One of Our Planets Is Missing - 4 (and out)
The Counter-Clock Incident - 1
How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth - 2

Beyond the Farthest Star - 0
The Counter-Clock Incident - 0
How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth - 0

I am torn between the extra universe alien who speaks backward but moves forward!!! And the ridiculous god-thingy... the backward clock thing with grandpa in a playpen wins this time... The fact that Voyager reprised that idea is a clear indicator of how bad it is!!!

Beyond the Farthest Star - 0
The Counter-Clock Incident - 1
How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth - 0

I always found "How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth" to be weak... The Ancient Aliens/Erick Von Daniken stuff really turns me off.

Beyond the Farthest Star - 0
The Counter-Clock Incident - 1
How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth - 1

Same reason as before on How Sharper...

Beyond the Farthest Star - 0
The Counter-Clock Incident - 1
How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth - 2

Serpent's tooth, same reason as before.

Beyond the Farthest Star - 0
The Counter-Clock Incident - 1
How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth - 3

"HOW SHARPER THAN A SERPENT'S TOOTH" has been rendered toothless. Because the others are MUCH stronger.

New round.

Beyond the Farthest Star - 0
The Counter-Clock Incident - 0

I love "The Counter-Clock Incident," but IMO the logic failures keep it from the top tier.

Beyond the Farthest Star - 0
The Counter-Clock Incident - 2

The CCI gets a point just for this solution:
SARAH: But the Enterprise crew, they're all children.
APRIL: They can enter the transporter. It retains a memory of their original molecular structure.
Beyond the Farthest Star - 0
The Counter-Clock Incident - 3

I cannot let my final vote be against Captain April. "BEYOND THE FARTHEST STAR" gets it.
Beyond the Farthest Star - 1
The Counter-Clock Incident - 3

"The Counter-Clock Incident" is all right, but I genuinely like "Beyond the Farthest Star."

It's out! Leaving only "Beyond the Farthest Star."
