The least disliked episode 2021 - ENT Season Four

Our addictive biyearly game of rapid elimination returns - now able to include Disco's third season as well as the debut years of Picard and Lower Decks. It's generally a lot of fun, providing a chance to mentally revisit those episodes you may not have thought about in a while. With that in mind, why not play again?

So, here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your least favorite or the one you deem the 'worst.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode just because you feel they would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

I arrived just in time to eliminate These Are The Voyages... Two bad series finales in a row - thanks TPTB!

They failed to move the crew on in any meaningful way, and they made the odd decision to not have the ENT crew as the main narrative focus.

And don't get me started with Trip's death. I have nothing wrong with a dramatic well-done shock death, but it just felt a bit arbitrary.

"Storm Front II" The TCW was a total failure from jump and was a huge drag on Enterprise (nearly) every time it popped up, so it was quite a feat to finally wrap it up with a plotline so imbecilic you almost wished the TCW would have kept going instead.

"Storm Front I" was a burden for the season and forced by the stupid idea of showing an alien nazi at the end of "Zero Hour". It would have been far better to start the new season with Home and it could even have survived another season. Stupid alien nazis!!!

Daedalus. It feels like a rejected Season 1 script that got hurriedly dusted off and produced for Season 4, suffers from awful pacing, and there's part of me that can't help but think it inspired the transwarp beaming nonsense in the reboot movies.

Couldn't decide between The Aenar and The Augments to go next, as both are disappointing conclusions.

Despite seeing the very cool Andorian homeworld, The Aenar is a bit too much of a random conclusion to the excellent Babel One and United.

"Observer Effect" is a revisiting of the Organinans that I could have lived without. These are not the superior beings who hated violence and forced the Federation and the Klingons to make peace. They're just your garden variety plot aliens. It's funny to watch Archer lecture them on compassion after what he did to the millions who were suffering from a deadly disease. When the shoe's on the other foot, hey!

I always just thought of it as a story arc, with a 2-part episode and a related single episode.

Borderland. In most aspects it's a decent enough start to the Augments arc, but the Orion slave market eats up nearly half of the episode to little effect on the larger story.

In a Mirror, Darkly II. It was too fanservicy in a season that was build around fanservice. It was also a pointless episode because not a single regular character crossed over into the mirror universe, so no one experienced or learned anything.
