I really don't know how to vote, I love Picard and Data about the same, and even though their dominance of the TNG films got to be annoying.

I'll vote to save Picard just because he would deliver speeches with a touch of class, and a lot of humility. Sure he's not perfect - he suffers a lot from the way TNG was designed by Roddenberry. He manages to overcome these PC restraints a lot of the time though, and as Garak/Kira/Spock aren't here, he wins by default.

They are both brilliant characters. I may keep whining about who is missing, but it's fair play to them that they made it here. I love the develpment of Picard during season three in particular, where I felt Patrick Stewart had become completely comfortable in the role as well.

Woo! Of the characters leftover the final vote, Picard was most deserving, with Data and McCoy behind. McCoy's early elimination shook my faith in humanity to the core, I tellz ya!
