The Last Person Standing is the Captain.

Macrocosm: CAPTAAAAIN JAAAAANEWAY!!!

(That needs to be said in Michael Buffer's voice.)

Talk about redundant.

Before she came back however, whosoever was last to succumb to the macrocosm?

What about Displaced or Waking Moments?

Workforce II: Captain ECH

ETA: I think Basics should be Captain Paris, since Suder wasn't exactly "standing" at the end of the ep. ;)

The Year of Hell. Janeway was the last one on the ship, as she rammed Voyager into Annorax's timeship. Now that's a way to go out with a bang...

I disrespect Kim.

Massively.

But I laughed to see that Chakotay thought he was tool too as he LET the ECH argue with Kim about how to best defend the the ship as he spake that father knows best "I love you the same" bullshit and let them cock fight for his love and attention...

Imagine that your refrigerator thought it could decide your diet?

A calm discussion about what happened to the icecream and poptarts or would you have the &^%$ compressed into a tiny cube?

So what about in Timeless 15 years later when Chuckles, Tessa and Km Indian-Jonesed Voyager... Did one of those three become Captain?

When exactly did Voyager lose it's status as an Embassy if the crew all died?

Embassy as in representatives from the Alpha Quadrant. If they all got old and died or whatever, and their children took over the ship. Then being born in the Delta Quadrant, they would no longer be a ship of Alpha Quadrant natives.

Tuvok (and Vorik, who is much younger than Tuvok) would probably still be alive after their 70 year return was complete due to Vulcan's extended lifespan. Although that doesn't stop Tuvok from still succumbing to his old age disease.

You've got me serious confused. Voyager was an Embassy? I thought it was your advanced Intrepid class starship.

Do you imagine that as Voyager crossed every line in space defining territory, that it had to change it's legal code and become bound to a new taxcode? Voyager was federation soil, All federation Starships are Federation soil, and the Captain of Voyager was duly powered to speak on behalf of the federation (within limits, waiting oversight, answerable to court martial for war crimes and shenanigans).

The Starship Captain for a PLANNED Deep space mission to seek out new life and new civilizations, would have had a different "friendlier" skillset than Janeway, who after all got to this point in her life via engineering and science.
