I lived in Austin for four years. I know that. The point is, there not even giving these people a chance. You know there is a letter writing campaign out to get these people fired from their roles on the sole basis that they're white. And as a person with White, African-American, Native American, and Chinese blood in me, and as a Star Trek fan, that is utterly offensive to me.

Cool, let them. Let them recast it with a bunch of unknown unproven Asian actors. When the film flops due to poor turn out, the studio should send each and everyone of them a portion of the bill for expenses.

There's a reason we've never had a blond Superman or Batman.

Or a blond James Bond. Could you just imagine how terrible that would be? Why, I don't even see how you could take something like that seriously. It would be the death of the franchise.
