The K9 Teaser Trailer

quite why ITV has not done a UK version of that show yet I dont know.

Ant & Dec are holding out for more money.
Hey, we're talking about ITV here. It'll be 'All-Star Celebrity To Catch A Predator' with a phone in vote at the end.
fair point, it would not be ITV if Ant & Dec were not the ones doing the chat in the chatroom, along with that weeks specail celebrity guess.

Ant: remeber the guy thought he is talking to a 12 year old girl, when he suggested the meet, but he was actually talking to a celebrity and star of an ITV 2 reality show Jordan.

Dec: that rights Ant, the guy is in for the shock of his life when instead of a 12 years old girl, he meets Jordan.

Ant: remeber to switch over to ITV 2, to see All-Star Celebrity To Catch A Predator Extra: where Jordan talks to that bloke from GMTV, and we show some of the unseen footage from tonights episode.

I think I have slagged off ITV enough for this hour

Doesn't look any more objectionable than SJA, seems like it might be a fun show. The girl gives me a bit of a Sophie Aldred vibe, who knows it might be OK. I thought this was supposed to be a space show with some salvage crew though, I guess they scrapped that.

I kind of wish K-9 was still moping around in the TARDIS with the Doctor. He was a useful tool and a welcome bit of comic relief when necessary. They could easily have "matured" him up for the new show, effectively turning him into more of a historical/temporal database than the aforementioned deus ex machina.

Yeah I think it would have been kinda cool to have K-9 guarding the Tardis while the Doctor was away on his many adventures.

Of course I'm sure that would have conflicted with the "lonely time traveler" thing they were going for...

Hmmm, actually with the sound turned off it didn't seem half bad. I guess I'd better leave it that way.

But K-9 zipping about in the skies? Good grief.

A flying K9 sure beats having to pull him across a scene with a fishing line. :techman:

And yet, a slightly hovering K-9 would have made the perfect balance between improvement and just being silly... ;)

It's a TV show about a talking robot dog from the year 5000 with a laser in it's snout, looking silly is the least thing they have to worry about. :techman:

it had better be the loveable old dog, or im going to have to think up a way this new series doesnt count.

I should think the old dog, since that's what Sarah Jane's Mark IV looks like. The one in the new show is the Mark I that hung out with Leela on Gallifrey back in the day, just "regenerated."

Why bring back the "real" k-9 for the proper series, then give the kids a shitty "texta" version? i am sure they would recognise the real k-9 better...
