Awesome episode, despite the questionable premise that a civilization like the one shown would have the technological capability to build a probe sophisticated enough to last in space for thousands of years, interface with the brain of an alien, and project an incredibly complex and detailed interactive VR environment.

But still, this episode features a good story and terrific performances.

I have been on forums where people have questioned the morals and ethics of this episode and some feel that Picard was violently violated by what the aliens did.

It's a point of view but I think that anyone who believes that is taking the whole thing too seriously.

I have to say that as much I as I love this episode I think it's over rated. It would probably be in my top 20, but not my top 10.
